“Great Hotel- Perfect Location”

The Ascott Hotel is perfect for Americans traveling to China. Flat screen TV, comfortable bed, air conditioning, clean and spacious. Friendly staff with good English skills. Very good American breakfast in the morning. Across from a Wallmart and walking distance to an upscale mall. I would not think of staying anywhere else if I go back to Beijing! It was a pleasant surprise.

We stayed 6 nights (2 adults and 2 children in a two bedrooms flat)... appartment in excellent condition, all appliances operating (including washing-machine and fridge/freezer very practical with children), plenty of space, clean, no noise ... great swimming-pool. Although it is not in central touristic aera it is easy access to the center with the main metro line.

“Ascott Beijing”

This hotel had been recommended to us and we were very impressed with the size and comfort of our "apartment". Our only complaint was that the bed was quite hard. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a complimentary breakfast each morning, nice pool and internet available. I will definitely stay at the Ascott if available on my next travel.

“Great accom. with plenty of room”

As the hotel is also a semi permenant residential property the rooms and facilities are large but not biased to flashy high star standards. This is a big plus. It is quiet and very comfortable with all of the in room facilities fo home and more. As ir is on the corner (almost ) of two major roads it is not too far to most places although one or two Taxi drivers needed help in finding it. We would definitely stay again and reccommend it - this was my third visit.

the ascott offers a fantastic location in the midst of the chaoyang district. this is commonly referred to as the CBD (central business district)of beijing. better yet, you get at least 1100 square feet of living space for the same price of a typical 350 square foot hotel room. the ascott is a professionally serviced residence that provides all the modern conveniences of home while away from home.

“A Great Hotel for Families with Kids”

We traveled with 2 kids (ages 11 and 6) and stayed at a 2-bedroom apartment for 5 nights. The hotel's location is good, as it's by the 3rd ring road, which has easy access to airport expressway, yet close enough to main attrations and not in the middle of down-town conjestion. It's not very easy to find though, as our driver had to ask for directions once in the neighbourhood the first night we arrived. The ATM in the hall (VISA/PLUS debit card compatible) was safe and convenient for local currency needs. Starbucks Coffee and Subway sandwich place downstairs. The breakfast buffet in a Japanese/Chinese restaurant was pretty good, with both Western and Chinese foods available. There's a nice Chinese restaurant (Sichuan style) across the street from the front entrance that we tried, but the Italian restaurant "Casa Mia" downstairs has just moved to a different location not nearby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but the beds are a little too firm. The hotel service (cleaning staff)is great! One little problem with the layout is that the East tower and the West tower of Ascott look exactly the same, so read the signs carefully! There's a small 24-hr convenience store downstairs (7-eleven type) which is great. There is a wireless connection at Starbucks, and a business center that has a computer with internet access. Overall, the hotel is great for families with 2 or more kids!

“Good for more than 2 people”

Five adults stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Was a good deal for that many people in a western style hotel. They brought in a twin bed for the 5th person. nice sized living room and eating area to either eat of plan day's activities. Nice area about 5 minutes from subway station. Bank with ATM across the street. 7/11 down street and multiple restaurants on street. Very convinient for vacationing group. The washer and dryer didn't work well for anything but light small loads. The breakfast was decent.

I always had nice experience at Ascott. The staff are friendly and breakfast is a plus.

“comfortable, good location”

near subway. but this is not a tourist hotel and while staff is helpful, there isn't the usual array of services. folks stay there for weeks or more and are well taken care of.
