Wish I could give a better reviewPosted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location is ok, not close, but walkable to subway station. Cons: bedsheet must has been collected dust for some times. My kids and I were itched for whole night. All better after bedsheet changed. Suggest to change bedsheet before guest arrive if it hasn't been change for a while.

Great locationPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good location- close to transport and budget restuarants. We used buses to get around all areas of Beijing for a week. Problems with flooding bathroom floor quickly fixed by management. Good quality towels, pillows and linen. Clean towels every day, toilet paper always replaced, both can be a rarity in China. Pleasant management. Lovely old hutong courtyard guesthouse in area with few tourists. Great budget restuarant to left of hutong's entrance, always busy with locals.

An old Chinese feelPosted May 5, 2013
Pros: Old chinese architectural design.
Cons: No restaurant
Location: A little far from subway station
If you want to experience how does the old Chinese living look and feel like, then this is the best hotel for you. You wont be able to locate this by just looking at its facade, all it has is the small No.58 placed on its vintage red door. It is located at the end of a hutong (Xisi Beiwutiao). The hutong is relatively safe during the night. This hotel is kinda far from the subway station though. Ping'Anli being the nearest is around 750m away, while on the other side is Xisi subway, which is 800m away or even close to a kilometer. But if you are looking for Chinese restaurants along the way, better walk to the Xisi station. This hotel does not have any restaurant by the way.
