“Okay, but only for a short stay”
I was on my way to Xi'an and decided to spend the night in Beijing and fly out the next morning rather than arrive in Xi'an late at night, tired and worn out. I read the reviews about how difficult it is to find the hotel, so I searched the Internet and got the hotel business card pic and also printed out a map of the location. The taxi driver still had a problem finding the hotel (and he called the hotel too, for directions). It's kind of strange that the taxi drivers don't know this place--it is in a cluster of hotels near the airport, and apparently a lot of airline staff use them (I saw a van load of pilots and stewardesses checkout the next morning with me). I took the free shuttle back to the airport the next day.
The standard room is very basic (no room safe, no tissue box, no dresser, no alarm clock. You do get a small LCD tv on the wall, a desk, and the usual hot water kettle). The bathroom is the all in one gym locker style (and smelled like a gym locker), meaning for the shower you get a drain in the bathroom floor. So take your shower last because you're going to get the whole floor wet.
Wireless internet worked fine. The room is a little worn (especially the carpet, and the baseboard has been battered), but other than that, it's clean. So I give this a marginal thumbs up because it's cheap, is close to the airport, and has a free shuttle to the airport. But it is not a hotel I would select for other than an overnight stay.
