“I choose this hotel again when I go back to Beijing”

I enjoyed staying there so much! I don't speak Chinese, but people were very kind and tried to understand me.

“Great Hotel, but with a few draw backs.”

Yes this Hotel was a welcome change from the several my wife and I stayed at during our 2 week stay in China. Clean comfortable rooms... A SOFT queen size bed that I didn't want to leave after the rock hard beds we had been sleeping on. Down sides for this hotel. Staff knows limited English, Hotel will not call a taxi for you even if its a 3 am departure. You must bring all your bags to the street side and flag a cab down on your own. Normally very easy during the day, but very difficult in early morning hours. Cabs were either going home for the night or didn't want to drive that far. It would have been very hard if it was raining for snowing. Also, the hotel is very close to shopping, only 12yen to silk market, but most cabs didn't want to take you to the hotel because of the short distance, they wouldn't make any money.

“Too far out of the way for restaurants.”

Hard check in. The rooms were nice. The bathroom was clean. The beds rock hard. No English TV. Besides all that, the staff were very pleasant and we felt welcome. We would walk at night to find restaurants which we found we were too far away from the hustle and bustle. I don't think I would stay here again for that fact.

“Sunny days at the jay looong”

Location is great, very close to the subway and a good restaurant on the corner, not bad shopping within a 15 mins walk. Room was fine but not exactly what was advertised. No actual lobby bar more like a lobby cafe, no alochol for sale but tea and pops were available. Wired internet available in the rooms only, cable provided though. Restaurant had an authetic chinese breakfast buffet. We went to Wu Mart and bought cereal and milk and borrowed some bowls from the restaurant. We were there off season - March 1 - and the hotel was full of chinese business men as it is close to the business district and has conference rooms so get there early. For those that may need a break and want some western style food, Subway was across the street, McDonald's was 15 min walk and Pizza hut about 5 mins across the street. Best way to get around is to rent a bike but we didn't because i was worried about all the traffic and my seven your old son... didn't seem like a good idea.
