good location but run down hotelPosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: clothes washer in the room
Cons: unhelpful staff, run down condition
Location: close to central business district, near a subway stop
This is described as an "apartment hotel". It has a washer in each room for laundry which is very handy on a long trip. However the hotel is very run down and shabby. The carpets are dirty, the shower was very moldy and the drains smelled really bad. The bed was very hard. There was wifi in each room as advertised but it dropped out every few minutes and was extremely slow. The washer worked fine but there was nowhere in the hotel to dry clothes except hanging them in the room. The staff had very limited English and were completely disinterested and unhelpful.

More like privately owned studios with no kitchenPosted Oct 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
The building seems like privately owned units. Each unit is decorated completely different from another and if owners choose to rent out as a hotel room there is staff onsite. There are longterm stay residents as well. The rooms only have a sink and cupboards but no cooking facilities nor utensils. So the receptionists only handle these particular rooms. Hallways are dingy but the rooms aren't bad. Just not cleaned well. The neighborhood is ok as it is in Chaoyang District. Some dining within walking distance but not a huge amount. Just a few minutes cab you can get to other places of interest or to eat. Busy area so not bad.
