“Best deal in China!!”

We were a bit scared before getting to the hotel because we had been in other cities in China in more expensive hotels that were pretty bad. However, we were gladly surprised with a brand new hotel. Evrything looks like it was finished a week ago, even the room!! The room was extremely clean and evrything look brand new, from the carpet to the tile in the bathroom. The room was a bit small, but we only needed a place to sleep and shower, so it worked great. The restaurants in the hotel were superb. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The only bad thing is that there was some renovations going on close to our room, but since we spend most of the day sightseeing, it did not affect us (only some background noise when showering in the morning). The hotel is next to the very nice Beijing antique market (you can walk there and get good deals). We would DEFINETELY recommend this hotel, and would LOVE to come back!!

“Excellent quality and value”

I booked this hotel on line, based on its location and ameneties and was not disappointed. We spent two nights there and a total of one month in China. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in and by far the least expensive. The staff were very helpful and the food excellent. We saved alot of time and money because the main attractions are easily within bus or taxi access. It is very comfortable, while NOT a western hotel, which we found pleasant.

20min taxi ride to well known sites. good supermarket near by. "dirt market" within walking distance. beautiful park -long ton easly reached on foot--20mins

“nice hotel, good location, very helpfull staff”

The hotel was very nice, we had a room on the top floor which was very quiet. Even though the staff is not fluent in english we manage to be able to commnicate. The location is very good, just 5 minutes walk to the subway, there is a supermarket across the street for snacks and beverages. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, excellent service. The only reason why this hotel room did not make it to extreme satisfaction is because the mattress was extremely hard. We ran into other travellers who were staying at a different hotel and they said the same thing about the mattress, so it may be a cultural thing that we are not used to. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

“Fine but not great”

The hotel was fine overall but the location was not great. It was a 25 minute cab ride to Tiananmin Square and Wangfujing St. which is the main shopping area (or an hour bus ride). There is a bus stop right in front but cabs are cheap so save the time and take a taxi. The hotel has some nice amenities like a gym, pool, bowling alley, billiards, ping pong. The rooms were very clean but the beds were as hard as a rock. The TV has 50 stations but only 2 in English - both 24-hour news stations which made it tough as an American. Overall, it was okay for the price but I would recommend a hotel closer to Tianamin Sq. or Wangfujing St.
