“Great hotel, we had a room with a balcony which was lovely! would stay again!”

We found the location extremely central but beware, take clear instructions regarding the hotel location in Chinese if getting a taxi as we encountered a problem getting back on one occasion! A great stay, very pleasant endeed!

“Nice place, once you find it”

It took a while to find this place; it's main door and lobby is tucked away down a side street off the main road but once inside you realise how big it is, hidden behind all the shops and other buildings. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and surprisingly quiet, given its location. The breakfast is in a small restaurant off the main food hall on the 8th floor and is worth taking although on a bad day you may find some of the food barely warm. It's all pretty good value for money, though, and its location puts it close to the main tourist spots and good shopping. I'd go there again.

Our stay was a very pleasant one. The location is right in the heart of all shopping, local food, and much shopping for trinkets. The people working at this location were a delight, and very helpful. At times during the busy portions of the days at times it was kind of tough to hail a cab as others would tend to beat us to the punch but the bellman would assist us with our needs every time without even asking.

We were just there for the olympics and it was fantastic. This hotel was in a great location, in the xidan shopping district. Other reviews suggested the hotel was difficult to find so we called the hotel & got them to explain to the taxi driver where they were in mandarin and we had no trouble, look for the big green awning. We stayed on the 9th floor. The rooms were great, and trust me you won't use the kitchen! The food is way too cheap to bother cooking while your on holiday. You can walk to Tiananmen square and forbidden city, or it is just two subway stops down the street if your not up to walking. The subways are very easy to get around, but Taxi's are also fairly cheap if your going right across town.

Similar comments to other travellers. The room facilities were excellent - having a separate lounge and kitchen made a massive difference to our 11 day stay. For what claims to be a business hotel, though, the front desk was poor - only one or two English speakers and not very helpful.

Hotel location excellent for shopping and seeing Beijing Unlimited broadband is brilliant Room is very clean and well serviced Business suite is massive but pricey Hotel staff not helpful nor speaking good English

“Excellet location!”

Three of us stayed in the two-bedroom suite, with two spacious baths. Comfortable, quiet and convenient in the middle of Xi Dan, next to several big markets, walking distance to subway, bus station and airline shuttle station. The kitchen lacks cooking and eating utensiles, but we didn't need them either. No-frill service. Would stay again next time.
