A great hotel with even greater staff!Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: staff and facilities
Even if the location is a bit awkward for taxis etc...this is a great place to stay, and the staff, even if communication is sometimes difficult, service is outstanding, especially from Mr King!

NicePosted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: Concierge knows his stuff, recommended great eating & sigh seeing places , showed us where the locals hang out.
Cons: Room service amenities - does not get replaced everyday
Location: Close to subway Line 2, and Main Railway Station. Wangfujing Street is around 20 mins walk away, so is the Oriental Malls.
We stayed here for 7 nights in the deluxe room. The room it self is very spacious, with huge King Size bed, sofas and big bathrooms. For this trip, we also paid for the access to the executive lounge- which is a good decision that we have made. Executive lounge provides us access to the internet, breakfast, dinner and desserts. What I like about the executive lounge is they are not busy and it is located on the 16th floor, so you get to have your meals or work on the computer in peace. While the food served is quite basic and does not have much varieties, it does taste good and helps on days where it is too cold to go out. The service on the executive lounge is also great, one of the supervisor , Sarah is very attentive and friendly. We also thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, the pool was huge and warm, there is also female whirlpool and steam bath- which helped us cope with Beijing cold weather. There is also a 24 hour Gym with modern equipment. There is a spa within the hotel, it is a little on the pricey side - but the service is great and we enjoyed our massage. This hotel is located right next to Beijing Main Railway station, which also serves as one of the station for Line 2 Subway/Metro, within the area itself, there are many things to explore, Fast food restaurants is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and there are quite a few local food around the area as well.

ExcellentPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The pool, spa, and steam bath were excellent. The buff and selection of other restaurant were very good.
Cons: It would be nice to have alfresco or eating out door area for the buffet restaurant and for the pool area as well.
We really enjoyed our stay in Marriott City Wall Hotel. Our only complain is about few staff at the reception were rude and aggressive .

Good location next to the old city wall.Posted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: Great beds, central location
Location: Pleasant walk to Tianamin square along ancient city wall. Tree lined park setting path next to busy street.
Beijing was clean, modern, and the traffic moved very well. The city's larger boulevards are well planned. Good traffic flow, wide sidawalks, seperated parking area, and tree lined! Be careful when crossing a street, cars have the right of way. Watch to see how locals cross.

a clean and expensive hotelPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The breakfast is good with a lot of choices; the room is clean. But the room rate is very expensive.

Beijing touristPosted Sep 8, 2013
Pros: Spacious rooms and restaurant choices.
Location: Very convenient to subway station - important.
The tour of the Great Wall made at the hotel was really good. You will need to disregard the brief 'purchase opportunity' stops at the Jade factory on the way and the Dr. T tea stop on the way back - but it is an opportunity for a bathroom break. But this was just arranged by the hotel - not a hotel function. But really worth the chaperoned trip.

Great service; fantastic executive level clubPosted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Lobby, Bed, Executive Level Lounge, Service, On site restaurants
Location: Right near train station - convenient.
I took a weekend trip to Beijing after a week of work in Seoul. I found this hotel sight unseen but trusted Marriott's. I was blown away with this hotel! So unexpected in style and comfort. I loved my room and the food/wine on the executive level was top notch. Definitely would go back should I find myself back in Beijing.

Lovely hotel near the Beijing Train StationPosted Jul 22, 2013
This hotel is magnificent! I only stayed one night but was very impressed with the entire experience. The rooms in C Tower are beautifully appointed with a huge bathroom and sitting area. I ate dinner at the Italian restaurant and the the food and service was superb! I highly recommend this hotel.
