“Best Location, Location, Location!”
May Jiang, at the Front Desk was especially helpful. All staff were very nice, professional and efficient. Will definitely stay here again.
No complaints at all.
Location, especially for first timers to Beijing (this was my 4th) is absolutely fantastic. Beware the little store around the corner to the right on the main street. They will rip you off. There is a store about 80 meters down the main street to the left on the opposite side of the road. She is very nice and charges the proper amount for everything.
A number of disreputable youth hanging around the neighborhood (one told me he wants to kill all Japanese people) acting nice to tourists but do not know exactly what their game is. Never got that far. Best thing is NOT to speak English at all - they will be confused and leave you alone. Works like a charm!
TIP Go out the hotel to the right (not left to the main street) and then take the first left. You will come to a side entrance of the park near the Forbidden City. Just wander in and around and you will find yourself more or less by yourself - for a while, at least. Especially good early morning, late afternoons.
