“Great Hotel, Great location”

The hotel location is great - one could easily walk to the Forbidden city, Tianamen square and other areas of interest. Across the side street on the right side of the hotel is a great shopping area with lots of food kiosks. The hotel is connected to a high end shopping mall with a movie hall, bank ATM (which is convenient if you need to withdraw money) etc.. Almost all workers in the hotel spoke English and were very helpful and courteous. Overall a great experience.

“Great Hotel for Beijing Experience”

Fabulous hotel, staff all very helpful in arranging room upgrade, tours, bookings, etc. Hotel in great location / walking distance to major tourist attractions - Forbidden City, Tianamen Square. Msde in China Restaurant terrific venue to experience local cuisine especially Peking Duck. We have two teenage sons who were very taken with the pool, spa and gym. Best experience is in local Hutongs (alleyways) to really experience the city and diverse range of people

“Great hotel for kids”

Beautiful hotel, super service. Wonderful restaurants and room service. Fantastic pool and spa, including a kiddie pool. The hotel is attached to a western-style shopping center with great shopping, a grocery store and many good restaurants. We were traveling with our 2 year old and the staff was so attentive and accommodating.

“Beijings Best”

A beautiful hotel in a great location. We were traveling with our children and they upgraded us to a beautiful suite and gave them stuffed animals. The lobby was beautiful and the resturants were good but expensive.

“Very nice - the 2BR unit is great for a family of 5”

We checked in late, and it took them a while to get the extra single roll-away bed upstairs, but overall this hotel was great. It is definitely "the" place to stay in Beijing, especially if travelling with family. We had a 2br unit with a nice kitchen and living room and the three kids fit fine in second bedroom with two singles and a roll-away bed. The pool is absolutely perfect for the family after a long day - the best spa quality lounge with a huge pool, two hot tubs, and private saunas, steamrooms and baths in each mens/womens changing room. Definitely recommended!

“Very good family hotel”

A family of four - we had a very enjoyable experience for 5 nights. Food is excellent, concierge services were very friendly and delivered on time and the pool is huge and great for kids. The staff all around were polite and helpful. It appears to be the choice of hotel for the Americans and we witnessed first hand a couple of loud and demanding business types but that was the only negative all week.

“Best hotel ever stayed in”

We loved the Grand Hyatt Beijing the moment we arrived. We were checked in right away by very friendly staff and upgraded to a really nice large room on an upper level with a kitchenette, eat in kitchen, living room with sofa and desk, bedroom and large bathroom. They even gave our 8 year old daughter an adorable stuffed panda as a gift the first night. This is a very luxurious modern updated hotel attached to the Oriental Plaza, Asia's largest shopping center. It is a great location to the major sites in Beijing. We were able to arrange a private tour through the hotel as well which was amazing. We especially enjoyed trying lots of different Asian cuisine at the Food Republic on the first floor in the Oriental Plaza. The Taiwan pancake was amazing. It is like a big scallion pancake with a fried egg and bacon and greens all wrapped together. After dinner we would relax back at the hotel's pool which is AMAZING. Definitely don't miss this. We went every night. We wanted to fit pool time in but knew we would be sightseeing all day. What a better time than at night to enjoy the pool. The pool is indoors but feels like you are outside in a tropical Indonesian oasis. The ceiling is painted blue with stars sparkling to make it feel like the night sky. The pool has a fountain, waterfalls, and hottubs...so relaxing and rejunivating. We felt very pampered and welcome.

“Very impressed”

It is little bit over priced compare to other neighbour 5star hotel. However, all staffs in the hotel are well trained and friendly enough to earn 5star from me. The room we stayed was Delux 2bds unit and it was very practical and comfortable for family needs rather than luxury components. Hotel Gym, Spa and swimming pool were the best part of this hotel and we could not enjoy enough. overall experience was extremly positive and we will absolutely recommend and stay again in Beijing Grand Hyatt.
