“Horrible service ruins what could be a great hotel”
This hotel was really nice in terms of the room and cleanliness. However, the service was some of the worst I have experienced. I was up-sold a package for a nicer room and club level amenities at check-in. A very aggressive selling approach as I wasn't really interested. Turns out most of what was offered by the front desk agent wasn't accurate or wasn't available. When I tried to get resolution to my issues the English was suddenly not quite as good as when they were trying to sell me something. Very disappointing. Not worth the premium price....shoot service like this wasn't even worth the discounted Expedia price.
“Badly managed hotel in a very convinient location”
Have stayed in this hotel many times, because of location. It has been just acceptable most of the times, but at my recent stay at Executive floor the place has simply become a ghost castle with a staff like a bunch of Chickens without heads. This is 100% a management fault, the place could be a fine hotel if they just modernized their way of thinking and gave the hotel rooms some character, changed the music, signature scent, optimized the staff routines and most important started taking their guest and their damaged brand seriously. I would leave them for now. I have done anyway. The 5th star has been removed. But don't listen to a guy whom have stayed in all the 5 star hotels in Beijing; Make your own judgement.
“Excellent choice if you want modern spacious space”
The hotel is connected to a large shopping mall, but there are few places to get quick food close to the hotel. The main attraction for me was the attentiveness of the staff and the outstanding features of the hotel like restaurants, exercise facilites, fantastic rooms, and other conveniences. They attended to any request immediately and were helpful in giving directions/securing a taxi. A train station is located nearby for easy access to transportation in the city.
“Great Hotel, mediocre restaurant”
Excellent hotel very well kept, friendly and efficient staff. We stayed for 10 days, the room was made twice a day the staff was very friendly and efficient. The only negative was the restaurant, extremely expensive but mediocre food. Fortunately next door is the Fortune Mall with an excellent and clean food court.
“Great executive floors”
was very satisfied with quiet breakfast on last floor
“Excellent Hotel”
The hotel is modern looking. The rooms are large and comfortable. Free internet is a plus. The buffet breakfast is too expensive. Go around the corner to the Fortune Mall and you should be able to find a reasonable place to eat. I didn't eat breakfast there, but did have dinner at a Mongolian Hot Pot restaurant and it was excellent. Good value for the price charged by Expedia. The hotel personnel were helpful, but not all could speak English.
“Beware of extra charges without your approval”
The hotel charged me US60.00 per night for a rollaway bed without telling me. Upon check out on the day of departure, no one mentioned anything about the extra charge and it didn't appear on my final bill. I found out three weeks later that they had billed me on my visa bill after I left the hotel. I find it totally unacceptable for a five star hotel.
“Impressed”
Beautiful Hotel with really friendly staff.
“a so-so hotel in Beijing”
The service is lousy and hotel employees are not that friendly
“Keep this one secret”
Very comfortable. Heart of Beijing's Central Business District. Nicely designed rooms. And prices can be good b/c occupancy low. So don't tell too many people so you can keep getting a good deal.
