Very satisfiedPosted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed 6 nights in the Hilton Beijing Wangfujing. From start of stay hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful particularly concierge (ask for taxi cards with popular tourist locations written in Chinese). Our room was massive with separate dressing area and we have been told it is on a the bigger side for Beijing hotels. very clean and comfortable, nice toiletries which got replenished every day plus robes and slippers etc. Huge comfortable bed. Only slightly strange thing was that the toilet and shower were separated by see through glass which we found a bit too open even for a couple! Breakfast is good and big buffet as expected in these hotels. Recommend the congee with all the toppings! One downside was that there was no free internet in the rooms only in the lobby and restaurant areas, otherwise CYN120 per day - expensive! Big hotel chains need to sort this out. Location was convenient located on central Wangfujing within walking distance of Forbidden City however as it is around the back of the main shopping area and a relatively new hotel, some taxi drivers don't know it so be prepared to hand over a card with the hotel name written in Chinese. Relatively close to the tube...closest is 5-10min walk away. Great local restaurant nearby called Sinji Minfu - highly recommended for peking duck, best in town! Overall great hotel, good location, great service don't need much more for a holiday!

Excellent Choice!Posted Sep 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was our first stop on a 10 day tour of Asia. What an exceptional hotel! 3 Days before departing Olga, the front office manager emailed me directly to welcome us on our upcoming stat. She also sent me directions in Chinese/Mandarin for me to give to the taxi driver at airport upon arrival as most do not speak English (Very Helpful). With hindsight I should have also taken Olga up on her offer to arrange a driver for pick up - would have been much more relaxing upon arrival. The staff were World Class! Most spoke English and were very helpful! I even left my credit card in the ATM machine being so tired and within 10 minutes I had a call from the office that they had it and would bring it to me. We also used a private tour company that the Hotel recommended, this was the best thing we could have done! The guide was exceptional, she spoke great English and it was inexpensive. This hotel made it Stress free in a country that can be quite stressful if not local! The room was beautiful! The breakfast buffet was massive and exquisite. Local food available but for the less daring lots of choices for westerners! I cannot give this hotel a better review! Going to Beijing for first timers...this is the only place to be! Thank you to all the staff that read this, you made our trip so memorable!

Very well located hotel with excellent service.Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Everything. The sound proofing and quietness allowed for good sleep. Very close to the Metro was a bonus.
Cons: Better lighting in the rooms - they are a little too dark.
See below. All I want to say is above and below thank you.

Beijing 3 day stayPosted Sep 7, 2013
It's in the heart of everything - close to Forbidden City, restaurants and shopping. Was able to check in early and was upgraded to a corner room. With plenty of space. Shower was a little cramped but had both rain shower and hand held shower. :) The staff was extremely helpful - from directions to helping me connect to the lobby internet. Great shopping mall next door (APM) with many good restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was good. All in all a good experience and I would stay there again.
