Not the bestPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: clean rooms, good food
Cons: have more english speaking staff, hire people from the silk markets they seem to know much more english then the staff at this hotel
Location: its far distance from everything, only thing close is fast food, markets are far, tourist sites are, would recommend this for a new tourist
good hotel to stay if you know the local area, the staff don't know English, it was very frustrating contacting them and asking questions. We asked if we can get assistance in finding some baby milk, they sent us a few blocks away to some store but we discovered the next day there is a huge supermarket just below our hotel. Concierge people didn't assist us in any travel and tourist information, we had to find it our selves.

Very close to the subwayPosted Nov 14, 2013
Cons: The cleanliness of the pillows
Love the location of the hotel. It was literally a 1 minute walk from the subway. It is also connected to a mall. The room was a bit small and dark, but at least the bed was comfortable.

A week in BeijingPosted Oct 26, 2013
We stayed here in Oct 2013 for a week. For what we paid, the hotel was great. It's at a nice location, and the concierges there excellent. We had them flagged down taxi for us every time we went out and they did it happily. It helps that I speak Chinese, and the guy told me where to find great food and what to see. Overall it was a pleasant experience

Poor customer servicePosted Oct 4, 2013
I stayed here twice. Once on Sept 17and then on Oct 1. Initial visit wasfine so I booked a second stay through expedia in a deluxe room. Before my first departure I indicated to the hotel manager thst I have asthma and require a room on a non smoking floor upon my return in 2 wks. I was assured that it would not be a problem. Upon my return I was told there were no rooms available on a non smoking floor. I could down grade to twin beds on a non smoking floor but the hotel refused to reimburse the difference because the room was booked through Expedia.

Good with Central locationPosted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Central location and easy access to subway (#2 line)
Cons: Check in and out.
Generally the hotel was fine. Nothing spectacular but rooms generally fine (comfort, clean, etc.) and location was convenient to subway, restaurants, etc. Check in and out could be improved but this seems to be a common problem at many Chinese hotels. Too much paperwork and not enough efficiency in doing the same.

Convenient HotelPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Check-in and check-out procedures.
This hotel was very convenient. The room was nice -- clean and comfortable. It is close to the subway. And there are a lot of restaurants very close. Generally speaking the staff is quite professional. Having said this, the check-in procedures are not well organized and slow. I can easily imagine that if several people tried to check in at once then it could be quite annoying. This was my second time at the hotel. When I went up to the room there was a note from the manager welcoming me back and nice fruit plate. I would definitely stay again.
