Nice Stay at InterContinentalPosted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Had a nice stay at IntterContinetal Beijing Beichen during my visit in Beijing. The hotel is modern and the room is clean. The staffs are very friendly and were able to help me whenever I asked for. It has nice swimming pool and gym, the gym is kind of small but it has everything that I needed. There is shopping mall and subway (line 8) nearby (5 minutes walk). Overall I am happy with my staying in the hotel and will certainly come back next time when I visit Beijing.

Completely comfortable hotel for business travelPosted Apr 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Goods action if you are visiting businesses out near Olympic park. Hotel staff helpful, everything you would expect from an intercontinental.

Nice Hotel Near The Convention CenterPosted Jan 15, 2012
Nice hotel but in the middle of nowhere. Only appropriate id attending the nearby Convention Center. If not, do not go to this hotel. This hotel is nowhere near the center! After a day at the Convention, I could forget about some leisure time in downtown Beijing. However, if being close to the Convention Center is a priority and are not interested in too much leisure time, this hotel may be for you. The only problem with this hotel is that the heating system is set on automatic (even though there is a control box but it's only for "show"...no amount of tweaking adjusts the temp to your liking).

Fine for business travelPosted Jun 7, 2011
The hotel staff were very helpful. Room did show some signs of wear on walls, furniture and floors. While close to the subway, it is quite a distance to most tourist destinations other than the Olympic Green.

Nice hotel but not a nice general location.Posted Jul 17, 2010 on Hotels.com
Location is not good if you travel to Beijing and want to walk around or take a taxi to explore the city. This hotel is near the 2008 Olympic park but nothing else. Not many choices for restaurants or coffee shops outside the very expensive hotel restaurants.

Great hotelPosted Jun 9, 2010
Spent a week here. Very nice hotel - 5 star by any standard. Not a great location - other than for viewing the Olympics area or attending the Convention Center. Large room, nice bathroom, great bed, large TV, awesome audio system, etc. Surprisingly quiet hotel. Strange to be the only one (on 3 separate occasions) using such a beautiful pool in such a highly populated city!! Good breakfast buffet - note that the 1st floor buffet is better than the club level. Only negative was weak wifi in the room and high wifi charge.

Great Hotel - Great Staff - Great LocationPosted May 15, 2009
My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel based on a number of factors including - first and foremost - a wonderful helpful and friendly staff who made our trip so much more enjoyable, excellent accomodations and an ideal location for anyone travelling to Beijing - next door to the 2008 Olympic site and close proximity to the subway if you choose public transit (for a different experience).
