Great experiencePosted Nov 17, 2013
Clean, great staff and awesome location. We walked everywhere from there. Really close to the night food market. Look don't eat anything! Close to tieneman square. Breakfast buffet was great too and wife in lobby good.

Very Average HotelPosted Aug 28, 2013
Cons: I think the room cleaning and bath rooms can be better
Location: Locayion is ok
Rooms & Bath rooms are not satisfactory. We felt the glass doors of bath section can fall down at any time and we will be charged. WC flesh does not work properly. Room Services can be better.

Close to city centre but difficult for taxi's2findPosted Jul 31, 2013
I enjoyed my stay at the Jade. It has a hostel feel to it and the lounge lends itself to bumping into new people and developing friendships. It wasn't the cleanest hotel in the world but it wasn't offensive with dirt (i think mopping generally in China is a different concept to UK). Airport transfers are very expensive for one person 300 CYN. It cost 100 CYN to just get a local taxi from the hotel to the airport. However if you get an airport taxi they are unlikely to find the hotel.

location is great but services need to improvePosted Jul 25, 2013
Location! Location! It is very close to Wangfujing, Tian an Men square. Although it is not a fancy hotel, the services and staff are not good to me at all, the price for this hotel in downtown area is pretty reasonable.

Great price, great locationPosted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: beds, location
Cons: working bicycles
Location: convenience store around the corner for water, snacks etc. Check out person very friendly. A few doors from store is a great place for duck.
Within walking distance to great restaurants, Forbidden City, night market, trains and buses. 10 minute walk to 2 malls one with a great Hot Pot restaurant on 8th floor. Staff was helpful but you need to get pass the lack of smiles. Room was comfortable as well as the beds. Hot pot in room was a life saver for oatmeal and coffee when we didn't want to go out for breakfast. Washers and dryers were very reasonable. Loved sitting in the lobby at night on the computer and listening to all the different languages spoken. Would make use of the lockers in lobby for valuables for 1 yuan is was well worth it. If you are not looking for bells and whistles but want a clean comfortable place to stay this is a great place for a reasonable price.

Budget hostel near to many attractionsPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel put us on the 5th floor when the lift only goes to the 4th floor. This is very strange. However, the receptionist helped us with our bags from the lift on the 4th floor to our room on the 5th. The room is ok with the shower separated from the toilet. Sliding glass doors are used for both. This is in fact very inconvenient and the curtains do not look very clean. It is a pain we have to pull the curtain and sliding door each time we need to use the toilet or shower. Hair dryer and basic toiletries are provided. We requested for a kettle for making hot drink. The location is quite good, a short walk to the famous shopping district and subways. The house of a famous writer, Lao She, is very close by. The hotel staff are generally helpful. With the price we paid, I think it is of good value.
