“Gerne wieder”
Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Die Restaurants im Hotel sind auch sehr empfehlenswert.
“Gerne wieder”
Ein gutes relativ "europäisches" Hotel in Peking,
“Superb hotel”
Rated at 4.5 stars - should really be 5. Excellent value for the price. Plenty space in the room, tea and coffee service bath with appropriate soaps etc. Hotel has pool (indoor on roof) with stunning views. Gym, good restaurants. Connected to the Lufthansa shopping centre with everything you could want. Good location on edge of Beijing - close to a local market. Overall excellent place to stay!!
“great hotel”
The Kemponski is a luxury hotel with all the services one would expect from such an establishment. The selection of restaurants and delis in the hotel property are simply fantastic! The shopping mall attached is very pricey, however, there are several options for shopping nearby. A great place to stay!
“Kempinski - Quick Review”
Great Hotel. Excellent Food & dining facilities Full family areas/activity venues Gym & Pool very good too. Lovely outdoor courtyard area. Unfortunately, we had rooms above the courtyard area which doesn't close to 1am, so a bit noisey at night. Despite having an Executive twin double, the room was a little on the small side. Still the room itself was nicely decked out and upto standard. Overall an excellent hotel, decent location to the city and the airport.
“Will be pleased to get back next time”
price was OK, location was fine and I'll definitely get back again soon
“friendly & helpful staff”
Was assigned to a room on the smoking floor, the clerk helped me to changed to a non-smoking floor promptly. The room furnitures and bathroom are old but clean. It's on a convenient and quiet location. The stuff in the supermarket next door is expensive though.
“Excellent, but Pricey Services”
It is not a value hotel. This is a solid business hotel. I had a 3 digit laundry bill. The breakfast buffet costs as much as a top hotel in the US or Europe. It is very clean.
“Big Enough to Accomodate your needs, I'd recommend...”
I'm guessing this is one of the best hotels in Beijing, and i thought the price was fair. It was big enough to have everything we needed (Gym, Pool, Spa), and speaking of the spa, I've been all over the world and have never had a masssage like their "traditional Dry massage", you MUST have this while staying here. Not for the faint of heart, but intense. Everything in Beijing is spread out so there really is no hotel to stay at where you can walk out of your hotel and go from there, but there were plenty of cabs and the concierge booked us tours immediately, so no worries there. The breakfasts in the main dining room are amazing. For some reason the Chinese really manage to get the breakfast part down, but lunch and dinner are a different story. I'd stick with the Italian place in the hotel, traditional Chinese food is just awful. I mean Really awful, anywhere you go. If you do have to eat it, stick with the rices and anything that doesn't contain chicken or meat, it's very different than our American chinese food. The rooms were okay. My "superior" room wasn't really all that "superior" but it got the job done. They also have high speed internet in the rooms for a fee which was essential to me and worked very well. All in all, I really enjoyed my trip which was a business/personal trip and would go back to the Kempinski.
“Disappointed this time! Needs a big-time renovation! Embarrassed that I recommended it to others.”
My room was hot and I could not adjust the tempurature. When I tried to set the alarm clock the back up battery fell out, it was taped in! Then my clock went to 12:00! Great! I have stayed here before but if this was my first time I would never go back! The hotel, especially the rooms need a complete renovation to update them. I had to apologize to the other people who stayed there based on my reccommendation. I hope they had a better experience.
