There is no internet at the hotel rooms

Posted Mar 18, 2013
There us no internet at the hotels rooms. You have to go to special floor and seat there. Another problem is that ypu get only 1 key to the room. The key is the only way to operate the elevator. Many times i had to ask the doorman to ralease the elevator.

great location and excellent facilities

Posted Jan 12, 2013
Pros: location and cleanliness
The location is excellent with easy walking to Tianemen square etc . Really good to have an apartment with that space ( we were a family of 2 adults and 2 children ) .The washing machine was great although i couldn't seem to get the drier working properly. Hotel type facilities with bathrobes, slippers and little bath gels etc. Facilities for cooking are quite basic which was fine for us as we were intending to eat out anyway -OK for breakfast but cooking a meal would be more difficult -set up for Chinese guests with Wok , chopsticks and bowls plus plates and cups etc .The rooms both had double beds -I am not sure if a twin would be possible which would have been better for the children but wasn't really a problem.

Fabulous Lee Garden

Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Location, friendly doormen, warm rooms, plenty of towels, slippers, bathrobes
Cons: Hard beds
Location: Perfect for Forbidden City, Tianamen Sq, Wangfuging St shopping, night market, restaurants, taxis
We stayed at Lee Garden for 7 nights. Our party was myself and husband and our son, 21, and daughter, 17. We had requested a 2 bedroomed apartment with 2 single beds for the kids. As there were no single beds, we were given a complimentary upgrade to a 3 bed apartment, each with a bathroom. The apartment was always warm despite the outside temperature getting as low as -22 C at night. The doormen were outstandingly friendly and helpful. On our last night one was able to get a taxi van for us to the airport for only 320 yuen. (We had paid twice that price on the way in.) The location was perfect for all the main tourist sightsWe walked to Tianamen Square to see in New Year and returned there the next day to experience the Forbidden City. The apartments are located right on the main shopping street with lots of other shopping areas around. There is a small supermarket just 3 minutes around the corner and many restaurants in the shopping centre just on the next block. A taxi rank is right next door to take you wherever you wish. All in all, a wonderful place to stay, much better than any hotel. Excellent location and a real home for the duration of our stay. We ate once in the restaurant which was fine but we never got time to use the pool or gym. I would certainly recommend Lee Garden to anyone and would definitely stay again if in Beijing.

The location is great; convenient to main attractions and short walking distance to metro station. It's surprising that it is equppped with a combined washing machine / dryer. The door man is very friendly..

Fantastic location and perfect for a family.

Pros: Location and independence
Cons: No bar on site but plenty nearby.
Location: Within walking distanc of Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City. Not too far from the subway also.
For a family who were out and about all day long but wanted some of the comforts and independence of home, this hotel was simply perfect. The living and dining room were very spacious and kitchen and bedroom as one would expect. With a young child, it was great that we had real space in the evening to relax after many kilometres of walking rather than just a bedroom of a normal hotel. Having the kitchen facility to stock up on essentials from the shopping center next door meant that we could make a packed lunch to cater for the fussy taste buds of some family members who did not want to try the local cuisine. A truly perfect location, right beside the Forbidden City and all attractions.
