“Great value”

This hotel was a great value for what I've paid. Clean, plenty of ammenities, and free internet by the check-in area. There is also a nice pool, gym and sauna. I thought the hotel was very close to the Forbidden City, but it takes you about 10-15 minutes of walking. However, there are not many other hotels closer to it, so basically this hotel ends up being in a close location.

“Wonderful Beds”

This hotel is in a good location and has wonderful soft beds - rare in China. Ask for rooms in the new building. You have to stand in the lobby to use the 2 computers available for the entire hotel, so you often have to wait. If these computers are down, they will offer you use of the computers in the business center (much faster than the ones in the lobby) but you will be charged per minute. I think if they advertise free computer use, they should provide it. Overall a very nice hotel.

“Good hotel in the city center”

Great location near the forbidden city and some bosh shopping street. Clean hotel, polite and english-speaking staff.

“Great Location but the beds are really hard.”

Overall we liked staying at Beijing Novotel Peace because of the service and the convenient location but our king matress was really hard. I would say the quality of the beds are same as a 2 star hotel matress.

“Beijing Central convenience”

So Central Beijing , close enough to walk to most of the tourist must sees and the subway . Concierges ,great if you needed help with arranging tours . Hotel rooms really good standard and nearby plenty of places to eat local . Great views of Beijing if you requestroom above 7th floor . Hotel swim pool great , gym is too small and lacks cardio pieces .

“Good hotel in a very convenient location at Wangfujing”

We booked 3 rooms for the full week. One for us, another for our 2 boys and another for our elderly parents. The buffet breakfast was extremely good and extremely expensive. There are alot of other eateries around the corners to feed the whole family for a small fraction of the cost to just one person which we found out later. We had to wait till about 4:30pm to check in as the hotel was fully booked and we had to be seperated into different floors. That was not so nice.

“Fine hotel in Beijing, very good location.”

Novotel Beijing Peace is in a very good location. Right across is the Peninsula with high end boutiques.Walking distance are 2 big malls and the popular shopping street. Hotel was not very clean, as in the carpet under the bed was dusty, dropped something under the bed and was surprised to see how much dust accumulated under the bed, like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Breakfast was good. Good thing our booking comes with free breakfast, kids stay and eat free too. Generally a very good deal to me! I'd stay here next time I visit Beijing.

“great location”

Overall, this hotel is very nice. If you are looking for 4 star quality-it has great location, great services-friendly staff. We thought we were going to have issues with the staff, but every time there was a complication-we were able to resolve it quickly-and usually it came in my favor. The concierge desk is fantastic-they helped us book everything that I had not previously booked on my own for a minimal charge. The amenities of the room are not the 4 star standard you'll find in America or Europe-but simply the location more than made up for it. One block from Wangfujing and about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the East Gate of the Forbidden city, depending on how fast of a walker you are. Overall great experience.

“Novotel Peace Hotel Beijing”

Great hotel. Very central. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Friendly staff but be wary of them trying to get you to go on very expensive day trips without checking around first.
