Nobody to greet me?Posted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: The price
Cons: Clean the room!
Location: Great location and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood one of our nights here.
I know this wasn't a good sign when we showed up at 5:00 pm on October 01, 2013....and NOBODY was outside to greet us....unload the taxi and drag our bags in....UGH! Yea, it was the middle of the day! I hear the hotel is new but it's already worn. Plus the restroom is in sad shape. Not just worn, but didn't like getting into the dirty shower. AC was weak and they never did fix it. You get what you pay for is so true with this hotel. Spend a little more and get a better four or five star. But hey, the spa was great! :-)

Very comfortable room and conveniencePosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
over all it was very good, but the address of this hotel is wrong on website. Need more detail maintenance, like dropping water, equipments check, like weight scales was out of battery, the corner of the room should be cleaning.

A disappointing stayPosted Jul 17, 2013
Cons: The rude staff and lack of hygiene
Location: Away from everything even the cab drivers got lost trying to find it. But the lake across through highway was nice
The room was dirty the mini fridge ran at 15 degrees. The staff were very rude and spoke very little English. The cleaners would let them selves into our room rvrn when had the do not disturb sign on the door. It was a nice looking hotel and room but basic maintenance was not being done plus the staff were not trained well

Nice Luxury in a Quiet LocationPosted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the Executive Floor for the Free Breakfast and Tea Time snacks. The room was huge with the softest sheets bed we have ever had in China. With the new Subway line 10 stop at Panjiayuan you can get everywhere in the city. At that stop is also the Panjiayuan Market which is a really great place to hagle over Jade, china, etc. Much nicer than the obnoxious Pearl market.

very nice beds buuutPosted Jun 12, 2013
Pros: the bed
Cons: tell people about your LARGE deposit requirement
Location: you have a polluted looking lake and some restaurants on your 15min walk to the hotel from the subway. there is nothing really to do in that area
how can i put this....my room was very very nice and i had a very comfortable bed and the bathroom was also very nice. the view would be wonderful but dont forget that your in beijing and the pollution will kill that lake view image you think you will have. the hotel is a bit far from a train station but i dont mind the walk and have a lot of nice street food you can have on the way there so its ok for me. when you get off the train station ask one of the 3 wheel cab drivers take you there for 10rmb if you dont wanna walk. now here is my real beef with the place. the deposit they ask you is RIDICULOUSLY high! if you paid for 10 days expect to pay for about 8 of those nights in deposit. i even called the hotel BEFORE i came and they said there is no deposit buuut to my surprise i got asked for a very large deposit which would have been higher actually if it was not for my chinese gf bringing it a little lower. so overall i would not suggest staying here. most of your day will be spent in the subway getting to where you want to go and walking back to the hotel. they never say anything about a large deposit and its far to high for me and i dont appreciate them lying to me when i called about it. you can find other hotels closer to the where you want to go for same or cheaper price with same quality. so unless you like walking alot and a polluted lake view just pass over this place. but they do have nice beds i must say
We would stay there again before taking our chancePosted Feb 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our only real complaint was the shower was moldy and smelled like mold. But the shower head was GREAT, bed was amazing, view was good, service was great, the hotel was nice to come back to after a crazy day on the town. and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, We would stay there again before taking our chances anywhere else.

ok oasisPosted Aug 12, 2012
Pros: Architectural and design features I thought were nice. Quality and speed of service.
Cons: Wifi being off the whole time was bad, as i was on a working holiday.
Location: close to Temple of Heaven, one of the best parks in Beijing.
WIFi was out the whole time, and they offered a cable connection (good), that was inoperable (very bad) . There also was a very bad, typical bad sewage smell in the bathroom, but as soon as we reported it, they sent a person up immediately who did fix it. On the good side, view was amazing, the room was super clean, the bathroom was well equipped with rainwater shower and tub for two....
