“Most enjoyable first stay in Beijing”

Our first visit to Beijing was guaranteed a big success by staying at Raffles. A beautiful and historic oasis awaited our daily return from visiting some of the wonders of the world. From the several doormen to the conciere desk to "John" the ambassador we were treated with utmost respect and hospitality. The abundance of Hotel staff made sure our every need was satisfied. Raffles exsquisite furnishings and decor set the mood for either drinks at " Writers Bar", dining at the award winning French Restaurant or relaxing in the pool/hot tub. Raffles location is within an easy walk to Tianamin Square / Forbidden City and the exciting traffic free shopping street. Taxis are efficient and low cost. Our four day - three night stay was a perfect way to end our 22 day Asian tour.

“Raffles was terrific”

My son and I had a fabulous time in Beijing due, in part, to the attentive staff at the hotel and the luxurious surroundings. The location was great, just a short walk to the Imperial Palace and Tiannamen Square. The hotel is very centrally located and it was easy to get around. The food was wonderful and so were the staff. I will definitely stay there the next time I am lucky enough to visit Beijing.

“Luxury in the centre of Beijing”

Our stay at the Raffles was fantastic, our room was spacious & luxurious & the staff were very helpful and spoke very good english - but what really made the trip for us was its location. It is just a 5 minute walk (if that) from The Forbidden City, Tianmen Square, the Metro & Wanfujing Street. When we originally booked this trip we didn't have a guide arranged & the location of this hotel would have made sightseeing on very easy (however we did book & guide & I would recommend one)

“Great Location”

The Raffles hotel is very well situated in the middle of Beijing very close to Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City as well as the main shopping street. The hotel is wonderful. Very elegant,recently renovated to a very high standard, with excellent service and good sized rooms. Breakfast selection plentiful and has several restaurants in the complex, as it is also connected directly to the more "Soviet Style" Hotel Beijing next door. Overall this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we would have no hestitation in recommending it or going back there on our next visit to China.

“Amazing Raffles”

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, the location, staff, ammentiies, dining. All top notch, I highly recommend upgrading to the "Executive Club Package" This includes the club lounge, tea, some great discounts in the hotel and an amazing breakfast every day, a really good value in my opinion. The only small compaint I might have is our wireless internet was a little weak in our room, but it worked great in the club lounge and gorgeous lobby.

i stayed at the Raffles hotel at the beginning of my stay in china and at the end,i can say for sure as a long time traveller around the world ,i have been in many luxurious hotels in my life,Raffles hotel is by far the best one i have ever been to!best service,best room(landmark room),best concierge service,upgraded on my second stay and late check out ,only one issue extremely expensive breakfast ! otherwise i would go only there in beijing,simply feeling like a king !

Really a 5 star hotel. Rooms have separate sitting room area. Luxurious bathrooms. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Located between Forbidden City and major food & shopping areas all just steps away. Highly recommend you stay here. Hotel food pricey but you can walk to many other eating areas right out on the major shopping mall. You cannot find anything more ideal!
