Always nice to visit the China World Hotel; however, the check in and check out service is not quite up to par considering the hotel.. The stay other than that was quite comfortable..

good experience overall
Hotel is old and luxury. Good service, especially front desk 2 girls who took responsibility of bags and helping checking. Piano live in the bar, also very good. Cons: website shows free valet parking. But true is 20-30USD per day.

Perfectly adequate hotel and nice staff. Hotel is a bit tired and bathroom had mould in the shower. Horizon club breakfast was very good. Overall was good value for money.

Well maintained property, impressed with the cleanliness and new renovations done for Horizon Club rooms. Rates are very competitive and good value for hotel of this caliber. Location hotel is very convenient, close to all transportation. There is a massive shopping mall beneath the hotel, with shops and restaurants that suit all budgets.

The hotel itself is beautiful, very nice, the lobby is magnificent to look at. Some of the hotel staff are rude. The prices for food and drinks in the lobby lounge are VERY expensive, equivalent to $25AUD for one pot of tea!!!! The hotel is also a long way from any restaurants, so keep this in mind when booking.

Hotel is attached to the subway and China World Mall, making transportation, shopping, and restaurants very convenient. Things inside the hotel are overpriced, staff will answer questions but not overly helpful. GuoMao is the Central Business District and is a great neighborhood to stay at - because you will be comfortable. However, if you want to be close to nightlife, stay at Sanlitun or Chaoyang.
