“Excellent location, efficient staff”

The location is excellent, right in front of a Metro exit, and only one stop from the Airport Express station. There is a big mall nearby, about 10 minutes walk. The front desk is efficient: check-in is fast, and check-out took practically no time. Staff is courteous. The recreation facility is sufficient. There is also free yoga classes at the gym with an attentive instructor. Although the in-room internet connection charge is high, there is free wireless connection at the lobby, and their computer technician is remarkably capable and courteous. My room is well furnished and it does not feel like cookie-cutter. The bathroom is a bit dated (still using the old-fashioned bathtub) but this seems to give more space to the room (in my previous stay at this hotel, the bathrooms have both shower and tub, but then the rooms were small.) When I go to Beijing, as long as my budget allows, I stay at this hotel.

“Very Friendly Staff”

I recomend to go to this hotel. All the staff spoke English, and they where very friendly. I had a problem with my room with the AC; but they change me to another room (that also didn't work jajaja). The only bad thing is that they charge you the equivalent of $15 USD for the internet.

Stayed several nights and found the hotel generally very nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioning didn't work well. City tour arranged through hotel was well worth it - good guide, good value! Would stay again.

The location is great, and the subway is literally right out the front door. Taxis are easy to get. It is well located for travel to and from the airport, and is even across the street from the 3d stop on the #2 airport shuttle bus, if you want to pay only 16 RMB to get into town from the airport. The concierge desk was helpful, though English was sometimes a challenge. The pool and workout room were nice. Room service provided good food at reasonable prices, and the travel desk did a great job of booking train tickets and city tours. I would recommend the hotel to friends.

The Swissotel Beijing is an excellent hotel - nice rooms, attentive service, good restaurants (incredible swissburger in their Cafe Swiss), abundant workout gym, on-site massage therapy, and even a DTI tour desk for planning sightseeing activities.

My husband and I were very pleased with the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. The best thing is the location as the subway is just right in front of the hotel making travelling to the city and airport very convenient. We do highly recommend it.

The hotel is what you'd expect from a large chain, clean, comfortable, efficient. Very pleasant staff. The in hotel restaurants were pricey though. The best thing about the hotel is the location, right out the front door is a metro stop, super convenient to get around Beijing.
