Awesome hotelPosted Sep 5, 2014
We spent 4 nights in the hotel in a 2bedroom suite. It was very comfortable - the size if an appartment! It even had a washer/dryer in the room! Staff were very helpful. We were surprised at how much English was understood. The location was awesome - beside the market, a block from the subway, at the beginning of the pedestrian only shopping area, and walking distance to T. Square, forbidden city, We would recommend this hotel.

Spacious and great locationPosted Jul 15, 2014
Great location. Probably best in Beijing. Nice big room. Staff great. On a quiet street, (hard to find in beijing). "Free wifi" means free very slow wifi in fowyer. Not free wi fi in room. Room wi fi was $100usd for 1 week what a rip off. Other than that I would go there again. Subway is brilliant so easy to get around.

Oasis of calmPosted Jun 29, 2014
We stayed at the imperial mansions as we were visiting our son who lives in Beijing We opted for an apartment as we we travelling with our 18 year old who likes privacy ! We originally booked a studio room which slept 3 adults . However we discovered that we had to pay an additional fee for a bed We decided to pay 40 a day to upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment , which included breakfast and no additional fee for bed . However we discovered that the additional bed was in fact just a sofa with bedding , not a sofa bed . This was v disappointing but our daughter said it was comfortable enough. Although after 9 nights she wS a bit fed up . So beware of assumptions . Overall though the hotel was very comfortable and staff v attentive

Huge rooms and nice bathrooms.Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: spacious room and smiling front desk . Allowed us late-check-out till 6.00 pm (instead of 12.00pm)
Cons: its just fine
Location: being away from hustle bustle yet very near to the walking -street ! All eatery near by , malls close by. just too good.
There are less staff but when we required anything we would get service in 'reasonable time' Spacious room and located in the heart with 'walking street' 200 meters away. Overall we recommend all .

Great location, great value, enormous room but....Posted May 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Usually the photos are better than the space. In this case the room surpassed our expectations. Huge. Plenty of room for a guest or to entertain. One block off of Wangfujing, it is a great location, though cabbies can be a bit thrown by it. The only problem is the staff. Though well meaning and positive, they have extremely limited English and capacity to help. Surprising at a Margot owned location. Could have a few more kitchen basics , like a single use of dishwasher soap or detergent available. And the washer is not also a dryer.... So the luggage rack had to do drying rack service...

Fantastic!Posted May 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed at the marvellous Beijing Marriott Executive Apartments for three nights in April 2014, and I must say it is amongst my favourite places I've ever stayed at. I must begin by saying the service was exceptional, particularly from one of the young bell boys that often works at night. The few times I interacted with him he really took care of me and made me feel very welcome, for which I am grateful. Other staff members were also lovely. As for the apartment there is nothing I can really fault. It is spacious, comfortable, ambient, welcoming. I truly felt a homely feeling for those three days. The bathroom is spectacular as well, with the most amazing and deepest hot tub I've ever seen in a hotel room. Shower was also great. I really appreciate that the room provides all the comforts of home, from kitchen to washer. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to provide guests with some sort of rack upon which they can hang their clothing after using the washing machine. Otherwise guests will have to hang their damp clothes (and underwear!) from anywhere possible (this was at the suggestion of the housekeeping staff). Other than that, it was a fantastic stay and I certainly look forward to my return!

Great hotel in Central BeijingPosted Apr 14, 2014
We couldn't have had a better location, being 500m from the Forbidden City and Tianamen Square. Shopping and restaurants/night markets were also right on hand. The 25m swimming pool was was a real bonus. Fantastic!

Great apartments in Central BeijingPosted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: The apartments are large, the master bedroom was especially spacious with its huge en-suite bathroom. It's also very quiet, although in city centre.
Cons: A larger choice of food for lunch and dinner would have been great.
Location: The location is perfect, walking distance to Tian'anmen Square and The Palace Museum. The local area-Wangfujing is great for shopping.
We arrived at 8 am due to an overnight flight and reception staff immediately organised our early check in which was great. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. It was good to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel room because of the extra space, having plenty of room to relax, something definitely needed after busy days sightseeing in and around Beijing!

I love this hotelPosted Mar 3, 2014
Great location, even better rooms... The food is a bit expensive, but you are surrounded by all types of street food and restaurants.
