“True 5 star experience!”
Amazing luxurious hotel and a true stand out in Beijing. The spa, fitness center, and restaurants were all unmatched.
“Awesome Awesome Place”
Best hotel ever, the staff is friendly, great quality room. great service. Just expensive =) You gotta pay for good service and room though. Totally worth it.
“Peninsula Beijing Not Quite "A Peninsula"”
This property has lost its luster. Guest rooms in need of renovation, bathroom small and dated. The hotel is dark and appears dreary. If the Expedia rate was not 50% off, I would not have booked it. Certainly not like the Peninsula Shanghai.
“Excellent hotel near the Forbidden City”
We spent a few days in Beijing at this hotel. It waswthin walking distance to the city central attractions (Forbidden City, Tainamen Square) and two metro stations. Food service and restaurants were great. We recommend taking a room incluing breakfast.
“Great hotel, great location”
Stayed for three nights. Top notch service ftom the minute I arrived. Rooms are fully equiped, large and comfortable. Fantastic location near subway. Cannot wait to return.
“Loved the Peninsula”
we stayed here 9-22 to 9-26-11 and loved every minute of it. After visiting the other 5 star hotels nearby we felt like our hotel was the best. George the door man was my favorite employee.
“Can't wait to go back”
The service and staff were excellent. They went out of their way to assist. The lobby bar was very nice with a great selection. The room was not medium sized with many amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. The spa was exceptional with the relaxation room and treatment facilities. They were accommodating to store my luggage during a side trip to X'ian. The staff always had a smile and their English was fantastic.
“anxious to go back!!!”
Lovely hotel and wonderfully welcoming!
“average, but not up to Peninsula standards.”
too old, but well maintained. restaurants are in the basements, good quality food, but sparse on the guests.
“First”
Excellent Hotel, good location, great staff. First time staying at a true 4 star hotel and it definetely showed. The only bad thing is that it is a 4-star hotel so art students have targeted the hotel. Be ready to be approached on a daily basis if you are leaving the hotel by foot. Went 1st weekend of October and have to admit, fall is the best time to go to China.
