Good location only

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Nice location and nearby night life
Cons: Improve the management concept to save every penny over customer satisfaction
Location: Hamra st. Seashore and night life
The housekeeping is below expectation without renewal of bath items nor cofee and tea. Broken extra bed and sunken mattresses. You must ask for renewal any item at breakfast. No manager available to talk with except from 10 am till 2pm when i am out of hotel. I was charged extra money after check out by several hours when I reached to airpor I called the hotel and they promissed to refund. My vaccation was very tough at the hotel but lebanon is a very nice country

Can't be bettered in value

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: The Staffteam- 24 hours. So hard working!!!
Cons: Time to steam clean the carpets?
Location: So central for Pigeon Rock, Roauche and 9 minutes walk to Hamra shopping and cafe area
We keep going back. It's clean and comfortable. The lounges have free Internet and there's always await corner to chat and hear oneself and friends speak. But the amazing part is the welcome from the staff and that they can be so flexible in efforts to please, 24 hours! Our plane arrived early, we are known guests, and we were allowed to chill in the lounge until our rooms were ready, with somewhere safe to put our luggage and peace of mind. Tea and coffee were brought on trays at no extra charge and we were even asked if we would like to partake in breakfast. We declined as we are not greedy types, but the fact that it was cheerfully offered was a warming experience. Our rooms became ready quite early. I think manners play a big part in the respectful attention we always seem to get at City Suite. When you have respect - you are treated with great respect there. We will continue to enjoy the best at City Suite has to offer and not quibble about minor details, such as the carpets are due for steam cleaning. The staff have been so good towards us, that it is what counts and qualifies for a good experience.

Great value

Not as central as some hotels, but considerably cheaper and top quality service, which is not always the case in Lebanon. Carol in reception is particularly helpful.

Beirut and Lebanon at Long Last

Posted May 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel met and exceeded expectations. Very comfortable suite and an excellent breakfast offering. A small misunderstanding on in-room WIFI charges was quickly resolved in my favor. Hotel linked us with the leading tour operator of Lebanon who did the "East, North, and South of it..." as well as could be expected with superb guides. City itself we explored on foot , the center of which was a short cab ride away. Nearby "Lamb House" restaurant, recommended by staff more than addressed our need for authentic Lebanese cuisine.

Good to save money...

Posted Apr 3, 2013
Pros: Free wi-fi
Cons: Bathroom very small. Poor breakfast.
Location: Is good in my opinion. 5-minute walk from The Rock (impressive) and 10-minute walk from Hamra street.
This questionnaire is not very precised. Room was ok. Bathroom was way too small. Breakfast was buffet but very poor. Gym is depressing. If you spend 100 USD you can find a much better hotel, in my opinion. BUT, if you want to save money, then, according to the rate is not that bad... Location is good: 10 minute-walking from Hamra street and 3 minute-walking from the sea.
