Good Value

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: location and the very reasonable rate.
Cons: have a free 24 hour internet, not just one hour for free
I got a good value for what I paid for. It would have been better if they had 24 hours free internet instead of only one free hour a day. Great location.

All round good place although I was charged for wifi when they led me to Believe it was free for 1 hour a day, and charged for a drink from my mini bar which I didn't drink!

Nice hotel - Rude staff

Posted Dec 19, 2013
Cons: New staff needed
The hotel is good value for money.. The one hour daily free internet was good.. The staff are very rude in the way they deal with us. At checkout they where charging us a for consuming tea and coffee from the mini-bar which we never touch.. They didn't accept the fact that it could be a counting mistake from the cleaning maids and they where insisting that we pay for things that we never drink!! We requested to speak with the manager who was as rude as his colleague at the front desk. He remove the charges for the coffee and ask us to pay for the tea only!! This silly situation ended when we requested to call the tourism police in Beirut and where insisting that we will not pay any money for things we never consumed. The staff then allowed us to leave the hotel and refused to give us any document for check out. We really felt humiliated and insulted in this experience and could never imagine that i will be accused of being a tea and coffee thief!! I will never forget the sharp looks of the front desk manager and the way she was treating us with no respect at all.
