Had a sea view room and it was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mediocre but lunch and dinners were Good.

Good location with sea views, however, dirty windows which spoiled the sea view! The room was not clean so we had to ask them to send a cleaner to do it. It was not too bad after all. Staff were friendly and helpful. I think it is overpriced and not a 5-star hotel (Not a good value for money). Would I booked it again? More likely "not", but may consider it if cheaper.

Very nice service. Wonderfull see view
The hotel its very well located in front of the sea cost. There are not beach in this area. The area its full of night live. in the midle distance between Beirut and Biblos. Just few blocks from the pedestrian area of the city and 1 km from the Casino du Lebanon. The best of this hotel are the peoples. Very friendly at every moment. In my opinion its a 4 star hotel compearing internationally.

Way Overpriced not clean
Rooms are not clean jacuzzi full of dust and hair , bed sheet was dirty had to change it. Rooms are noisy . It's very expensive hotel.

Great seafront hotel in Jounieh
We travelled as 3 siblings (29-35 year olds) with our spouses and our parents at Portaluna hotel in mid august and highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is very well situated on the main road in Jounieh-Maameltein. It has a pool as well as a gym, ping pong tables amongst other items. Rooms are large & clean, relatively new but well maintained, with comfortable king size beds and a seating area. As well, bathrooms are large and clean, with hairdriers, and the showers have strong water pressure. Rooms on the second floor have large balconies. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant, and all speak Arabic, English or French, if not both. There is free cold water in a fridge in the lobby and, to our surprise, meals are included (3 per day). Meals are buffet style with large selections, but there are also waiters that will serve you. Also, there are many restaurants nearby, a short walk away. This hotel is highly recommended for couples & families.

Great location......close to restaurants shops pub
Overall pretty good.....staff r friendly....hotel is clean....buffet is good....close to all amenities But the hotel is definitely not a 5 star In being fair it should be rated max as a 4 star hotel

Clean hotel
I spent two nights at Portaluna hotel. The hotel is across the beach in a great location. My room was clean, bathroom was kind of disgusting. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I'm still not convinced it's a 5 stars hotel though.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay..The rooms were so nice and clean. They upgraded us to a beach front view..The staff was so helpful and kept giving us discounts on our stay. I was very pleased with the quality of service from the staff. They definitely aim to please. I highly recommend staying at this hotel..Beautiful views and restaurants within walking distance. The neighborhood was okay but that is just the town of Junieh..

Nice Hotel, friendly staff.
Overall, the hotel is nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The picture of the hotel online do not accurately show the rooms. They are smaller and not as luxurious as they would have you believe. This was a little disappointing.

Excellent value and service at locally owned hotel
Portaluna is a relatively small, boutiquey hotel and it shows. But overall the experience was very pleasant. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. The room was excellent, nice large bed, well equipped bathroom, flatscreen tv, desk, lounge chair, the works. The hotel is across from the beach area and there are some restaurants/clubs along the beach that blast music into the night, so bring earplugs if you need to get to sleep early.

It was beautiful in the past
I booked this hotel because of my previous good experience. I was there 1 year ago for one night and we received excellent service including a champaign welcome with fruits and nuts in our room. Because of that I choosed the hotel for our honeymoon and it wasn't good at all! We choosed exactly the same roome type including the hot tub. First of all we had no bathrobes in our room like before. 1 light was broken in the bathroom and there was hair in the shower. The night was terrible cause we couldn't sleep at all. Our neighbor went out of his room a hundred times at 2am,3am,4am,5am in the morning and the door closed very noisy people were talking like in a train station it was horrible. Next day we complained at the reception about that but no empathy at all from the employee there just that he got already a security report about that. And we he cannot change it now. As well we told him about missing bathrobes and that we didn't got the welcome champaign with fruits and nuts to the room. He said he will see what he can do but doesn't sounded like he was really willing to help. In the afternoon someone called and asked if everything is fine and I told on the phone again whats missing. Nothing happend. Later someone came to the room and asked how he can help and I told him again. 3 hours later after dinner I asked again for bathrobes and finally we got them. Sorry but it can be so easy to make ur customers happy but u definitely failed this time so no recommendation

Hôtel aillant du bon personnel mais mal entretenu
Très dur d'avoir de réel avis sur cet hôtel. Le personnel est adorable. Rien a redire. Mais l'hôtel en lui même est mal entretenu piscine couverte froide en plein mois d'avril. Des fourmis autour. Des fils électriques pendent du mur à coter de la piscine. Jacuzzi a 20 degrés ! Attendre 1h minimum avant que sa chauffe. Et sa dépasse pas le 24 degrés. Le personnel de chambre vous nettoie la chambre. Mais ne remet jamais les peignoir ! toujours obliger de demander et il ne les ramené pas forcément. Bref courir après les choses ne sont pas agréable. Seconde choses , LA DOUCHE . Hôtel tres récent mais douche abîmée. Trace de noir et jaune dans le bas de douche. Enfaite dans cette hôtel les finissions sont vraiment mal faite. Le seul point fort qu'il ont est , la beauté du lieu où ils sont, la gentillesse de la plus part (évidemment) le personnel et le lit très confortable. Pour le tarif payer cest n'importe quoi ! Mieux vaut attendre qu'il améliore ses détails avant de venir dans cet hôtel.

I hotelbeskrivningen stod det att de hade en utomhuspool. VId ankomst fick vi veta att detta bara gällde under högsäsong. Men de kompenserade oss bra och vi fick fantastisk service hela tiden. Hotellet är fint, med fantastisk utsikt över Medelhavet. Frukosten är OK, men inget märkvärdigt. Det var skönt att bo utanför Beirut och i en by som var trevlig. Nära upp till Byblos som var helt fantastisk!
