Good Hotel with excellent Access to sea

Posted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: Sun bathing/swimming facilities. Jet ski ($40 per 15 minutes)
Location: Famous Alhamra district (30 minutes walking). Restaurants at Zaitouny Bay (Marina) and posh shopping in Downtown areas are within a short taxi trip.
We booked two rooms for a family of 5. Initially, they offered two twin rooms + 1 tatty bunk bed for the third person in one room (one can hardly move once the third bed installed). We refused and argued/discussed the fact that our booking is for a room with 3 beds and after much haggle/frustration they succumbed and offered a suite rather than a twin room but with the same bunk bed which we accepted. After that everything went smoothly. The hotel has excellent sun bathing/swimming facilities next to the sea through an under main road subway (free for residents and costs about $65 per day per visitor). We did not eat at the hotel (breakfast costs $27 per person). The hotel's location is good with walking distance (30 minutes to shops) or a short trip in a taxi (costs about $10-$15).

Great hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2013
Pros: The beach club
Cons: None
Location: Great location right next to hamra street
The staff of the hotel were really helpfull with everything. Jamil and Maha in The front desk tried to help you with anything. The beach club is by far the best thing of the hotel.

big mistake

Posted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Dirty carpet, outdated, no coffee or wifi in the room, pool closes at 6:00 pm. The require teens to swim in the baby pool even when they have three other pools open and empty. Far from everything (10 min walk) Dont waste your money..there are many other and better hotels in Beirut.

Amazing pool, nice hotel with good location

Posted Jul 30, 2013
Pros: Pool Service
Cons: They charge extra for both Wifi and Parking. I parked my rental in the street instead, and the tire covers got stolen!! Food could be better
The pool area is top notch. The hotel is very comfortable and service is great

Excellent hotel vacation

Posted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: every thing. staff, location, beach food quality and it's services.
Cons: back electricity services and maintenance of alarm system.
Location: 20 minutes from the airport. facing the sea and has its own beach. it is 5 minutes from down town Beirut and the Zeytona Bay center.
Nice hotel, has it's own beach. Close to down town. friendly welcoming staff trying their best to make your stay pleasant and memorable. It has excellent business meeting facilities. rooms are nice and clean. Lebanese food is delicious and healthy. the hotel staff makes it difficult not to come back.

Nice but!

It was a really nice one, close to beach, has a great atmosphere, but it was annoynig that our reservation didn't include breakfast, knowing that we paid much more than the normal breakfast-included rate, also the pool; although it was cheerful but its water PH was too low that you can't open your eyes in, because if you did you won't be able to see for the next ten minutes, which made me swim in the junky beach! Ths staff, except for some individual behaviors, was really helpful.
