“good quality, inexpensive city centre hotel.”
name of review says it all - budget priced, clean & comfortable, public rooms often busy & a little noisy, but overall good value for money.
“A return stay just as good as the first”
I first visited Belfast alone in August 2008 as it had been a long time ambition to see the Antrim Coast and Giant's Causeway. The tourist board recommended the Days Hotel based on value for money and location - just across the road from the main bus station where the Airport Express bus (no 300) terminates. I enjoyed the long weekend in Belfast so much I decided to return this July with my partner. Staff are very helpful, the breakfast is very good with stacks of choice from cereals, toast, cheeses, juice and hot drinks to an Ulster fry although it is always scrambled egg (never fried). On both occasions I was able to check in mid morning as the room was ready and on check out day you can leave luggage in a locked room specifically for that purpose. The bathrooms have dispensers of Dove products and they have brilliant power showers and the biggest towels (bath sheets) that I have had in any similar priced hotel. The Days is excellent for my needs and I would always stay there when visiting Belfast.
“would go back”
Very good hotel,I have stayed at The Days in Canada so knew what to expect,as this hotel is fairly new its in very good order, breakfast is very good and plenty of it. Excellent location so near to the city center,we got a taxi from George Best Airport to the hotel but the bus station is across the road so got the bus back they run every twenty minutes only.I would stay here again.
“Would stay here again”
This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel, it is nice, comfortable and clean and is 5 minute walk to the town centre. Breakfast is very nice and the staff are very helpfull. If travelling from the airport I would recommend the number 300 bus which brings you to the bus station, on arrival, exit and turn right to walk down the street the hotel is 2 minutes away from the bus station.
“One the Tourist Attractions”
The hotel is excellent, quite new, near to the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is mentioned in the City Open Top Bus tour as an example of the way international businesses are now quite happy to build in the city after the 'troubles'. It is ideally situated for shopping and sightseeing.
“Best Hotel in Belfast”
Great Hotel. Best location. Very clean and safe. Sandy Row has shops and the locals are very friendly. Will be back again.
