“Very good full service downtown hotel.”

Very nice Hotel with many amentities. However, Wi-Fi is not complimentary. A full breakfast is available at a discount. There is plenty of taxi service in front of the Hotel. Also, the City's commuter train station is next door to the Hotel.

Area recommendations
The Titanic Quarters area (previously the Harland & Wolff Shipyard) where a Titanic history tour is available.
Getting around
The City's commuter train service was helpful. The Old Harland & Wolff shipyard where the Titanic was built was very interesting. A tour is available.

“Would return.”

Beautiful room, just too small. Desk staff not friendly.

Area recommendations
Antrium coast is a must. Wanted more time to see the city so we will go back if possible.
Getting there
Ferry from Scotland on Stena Line was wounderful. Booking the ferry from USA was easy because of the booking staffs' help. The ferry arrived late and all the buses to the city were gone for the day. A cab fare could be expensive if you do not have a group to share.
Must see
Coast line and the Giants causeway.

“Modern Hotel in Great Location”

A beautifully renovated hotel right across from The Crown Bar downtown. Great service and very clean. My only complaint is that the rooms are very small.

“Not impressed.”

Our room was adequate as far as a bed goes. Lighting was extremely poor....no reading lights except by the bedside. TV could be seen from in bed only. Choice of channels extremely limited......no national news channel. No refrigerator....no ice bucket.....no ice available on the floor. Internet was intermittent at best. At one point all the restaurants in the hotel were closed.....couldn't even get a cup of coffee. Parking our rental cost us a small fortune. Except for the excellent location, it's definitely not worth price.

Area recommendations
Definitely take a ride up the coastal road.

“In the heart of Belfast”

The Europa is conveniently located in city center with most attractions within walking distance. Fine dining, an excellent pub and a piano bar are all on the premises. Afternoon tea or even better, an Irish coffee at the piano bar, overlooking Great Victoria Street, was an unexpected treat. The concierge was most helpful and requests were handled politely and professionally. Valet parking is available at a very reasonable charge. The rooms were on the small side, with baths being a more adequate size. This was a small trade off when you consider the other amenities of staying at the Europa.

Area recommendations
Hop on one of the tour buses that stop at the door of the Europa. It will be well well worth your while to get a history of Belfast as you see the sights. Listen carefully as you get an overview of the "troubles" while looking at the murals along Falls Road and Shankill Road. Don't miss St. Georges Market, the Crown Saloon, City Hall and all of the shopping near City Hall. For an absolutely beautiful view of Belfast, visit Belfast Castle. The castle and grounds are stunning and the views of the city are breathtaking!

“Belfast Europa”

Comfortable. Good service. Very well located.

Area recommendations
Fascinating. Shankill Road and Falls Road. To experience history personally. To feel the current tension and realize that the "peace" is relative and the animosity is still strong between the parties. Visit advisidly with caution! Titanic tour with Susie Millar was enlightening. Trip along the north coast with Susie on a beautiful day was gorgeous.

“Great Location”

We have stayed there twice but next time we will stay some place else. The hotel is in a great location but front desk staff are rude and unwilling to help in any way. If you have a problem or need assistance they act like you are bothering them.

Area recommendations
I would reccomend driving the 2 hours to dublin or the 1 hour to derry as both are very nice and the people are very friendly.
