The Expedia online listing for this property shows pictures of a well stocked communal kitchen. They describe the kitchen as a “top family friendly amenity”. Marketed therefore as a well equipped self catering accommodation! Imagine my surprise when I arrived for a six night stay to find that whilst the kitchen had a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and a cooker, it completely lacked crockery, cutlery, saucepans or pans of any description. There wasn’t even a cup or a spoon to make a cup of tea never mind a meal. I raised the matter with reception who said Expedia know the kitchens are not equipped but that they have no control over how Expedia choose to market the accommodation. I sent an email to Expedia setting out all of the above. I received an automated reply saying they would get back to me within 24 hours. I am still waiting. Four days ago I messaged QUB asking for an explanation. Again I am still waiting. I think both Expedia and QUB are expecting me to go away and forget about it. Sadly, I am going to disappoint them in that regard.

A home away from home .
It was super stay there . The environment is beautiful and comfortable Check in was easy and quick . Room is clean and tidy with a beautiful view of the residence environment. The walk to the city centre takes 20 minutes if you are a fast walk but it is nice and comfortable walk .

Value for money - bed, kitchen, en-suite, breakfast, brilliant location for town and public transport, and no-fuss administration. Could have done with a means of mopping up the area around the shower.

This is student accommodation and therefore no frils. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There are common rooms where drinks and meals can be oreoared.

The guests staying on the same floor as me were super loud and would wake me up which was exasperated by the thin walls and the doors would bang loudly. The light in the bathroom doesn't have a switch so you can't turn it off and just have to wait for it to go off. Other than

Elms Village was a bus ride or short walk to the City Centre, while at the same time being just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. The study room was clean and tidy; the shower and the WiFi worked. The 24/7 staff were helpful and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. It was an excellent base for Belfast, the Titanic Quarter and a train to Dublin. If you want something a stage up from a hostel or economical good accommodation, then this is the place to stay.

If you want a brilliantly clean prison cell for your stay then this is the room for you. No tv, no tea or coffee facilities, no cooling fan, very very basic, only one main light. I have stayed in halls of residents for students before but this place was in the middle of nowhere. I will not be recommending it to anyone, not even students

Elm Village is set in its own grounds very secure and located close to many attractions and Belfast City Centre 7 min bus ride Excellent staff friendly and helpful made check in a pleasure, rooms are located in Fob key accessed units as are the rooms and all have on suite and are very clean with daily housekeeping and clean towels daily and bedding 3 days, free wifi ensures you can check out locations to visit and keep in touch with things at home. Separate shared kitchen facilities have all appliances to meet your cooking needs and include. a tv seating area, Breakfast is included in price and is served in a ultra modern dinning room building ,with a well stocked shop area. Amazing value would highly recommend and definitely stay again😃

I've stayed at a number of student doems across the UK, and this one was of a totally different standard. Breakfast was surprisingly good. The room was of a fair size. Outlet near bed. Soap and ahampoo. Very clean.

My room was for a disabled person and therefore a light overhead wouldn't or couldn't turn off making it difficult to sleep, also the wall plug kept buzzing as something wrong with it. Still the room was clean and ok otherwise.

There's really nothing to complain about from my stay. Everything was clean, the breakfast was basic but nice and the staff all seemed lovely. The area is one of the best in Belfast and easy to walk to the centre from. Wasn't the biggest fan of some of the other people who shared my kitchen, but that can't be helped. The actual room was exactly like going back to uni. An ensuite shower and toilet, a single bed and a desk. Nothing to rave about and nothing to complain about, though I would recommend asking for an extra pillow or two.

Great choice for those on a budget. Room is basic, but spotless. Good cooked breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Set in a leafy suburb, with easy access by bus to city centre.

Over-priced, poor location, awful bathroom
Over-priced, and they couldn't even supply a bar of soap! After a very long journey, arriving at a property without any toiletries late at night was no fun. The room was unbelievably small. Plus, the shower was a joke - hardly able to fit in, the water flooded the floor due to insufficient drainage. I then had to spend 10 minutes after the shower using one of the towels to mop up the excess water. Location was not central. Breakfast was pretty good, though. All in all, I would not recommend and certainly would never stay there again.

Very basic accommodation which I expected considering how cheap it was. Very clean and friendly staff in a very safe location. The on the go breakfast was much better than I expected.
