Good hotel not real centre but close enough.

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Staff friendliness
Location: Near centre, 5 to 10 min walk
Stayed at hotel for a couple of nights. Great location, very clean. Has a nice bar. Staff weren't the friendliest. They looked like they hated their job, particularly on reception and the bar staff. Maybe they were having a bad day but not the best welcome to meet a glumb face when you initially check in.

Not what we expected

Posted Nov 23, 2014
The staff where helpful until we said about a problem and they then continued and try to brush it off . We were placed in a room set up for wheelchair users which made it hard for us to use the facility's provided. I.e the sink was lower as well as a few other areas in the room . We also noticed that the sink was broke . The drain in the shower was blocked and lead to water covering most if the bathroom floor as it was a wet room . When we brought this to the staffs attention they didn't seem to care. We also enquired at this point if all the rooms were set up like ours for wheelchair users, they replied no but it has a double bed and we had no other rooms left. We had booked our stay 3/4months in advance and we were confused as to why we did get the room we requested.

Nice hotel near the Catheral Quarter/city centre

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Convenient and relatively cheap
Cons: Provide toiletries rather than soap dispenser
Attended a show so really only slept in the hotel and didn't use any facilities

Ok but basic

Posted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: Handy location
Cons: Beds
We paid a fair bit extra for an executive suite. However it was just the same layout as a standard double room but with free WIFI. The bed wasn't comfortable and there was just one pillow each. There was a functional clothes rack rather than a wardrobe. The room was comfortable enough and the staff reasonably helpful. It served the purpose of a room to sleep in during an overnight trip to Belfast but no more.

Central hotel close to nightlife

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Central location
Cons: Attention to detail.
Location: On the periphery of the lively Cathedral Quarter. Plenty of bars and fabulous restaurants to choose from. Walking distant to all the city sights.
Clean and comfortable room. We were lucky to be in a room at the end of the corridor meaning it was nice and quiet. There was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom which was a disappointing. There also seemed to be a lack of attention to detail - a half empty champagne glass was in the lift lobby for the entire duration of our stay.

A stay

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Ideal for business travellers. Not ideal for long stays. Limited space for clothing Good eats at restaurant . Request higher level rooms as street noise at night left me with a few unsettled nights as there was no ventilation in the room became stuffy which the window was needed to be left open for fresh air. Bathrooms only came with body wash no shampoo conditioner or lotion nor face cloths. As mentioned ideal for travellers. Clean rooms and responsive staff in restaurant and at front desk.

fairly central for the city centre

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: The design of the rooms
Cons: SOUND-PROOFING - surely that is an integral part of your visitor's well-being - a good night's sleep.
A lot of thought has gone into the design of the rooms but no thought or importance has been given to sound-proofing. There is none. Surely this is central to customer's well-being. I could hear every word from the next door room at 2.30 am. The hotel appeared far from full - why not put your customers in every other room when you are quiet.

City break

Posted Oct 5, 2014
I was travelling alone with my 15mth old. The reception staff were polite but unwelcoming and made no effort to assist even though could see I was struggling with multiple bags. They gave off a don't care vibe which just set the whole stay off to a bad start. Not really helpful when it came to answering questions either. Rooms were basic but clean & quiet. Place to stay if you was a no frills no fuss place.
