Friendly efficient staff running like clockwork. Clean and comfortable and with a slightly quirky vibe. Lively convenient area with restaurants and bars, but tucked a short step away in a side street so quiet enough. We will return.

We stayed in this property for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet, clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a choice of hot options or continental and was excellent. After travelling in Ireland and Northern Ireland for nearly 3 weeks this was the first hotel with a fridge in the room. The property is just 15 minutes walk from the city. We would not hesitate to book this accommodation when returning to Belfast.

My husband amd i stayed here in December, the staff where lovely friendly and helpful, breakfast was included with plenty of selection.. our room was clean and bright too.. would definitely recommend as its in walking distance to the town centre

Great hotel with wonderful staff.
We stayed at Tara Lodge with friends for a weekend break in Belfast. It's a wonderful city and the hotel was in a great location, with several bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, Botanic train station 2 minutes away and about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were warm and comfortable, breakfast was amazing and the staff were attentive and so friendly.

Clean and comfy lodge in a quiet neighborhood but within short walking distance to great bars, restaurants, the city center, and the botanical gardens. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff made our stay even better.

Surprisingly comfortable and a well sized room.
This was a very well located hotel just far enough off the main road to be quiet. Easy enough to walk into city center. No issues with getting taxi or uber.

Very nice well run hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful, our room was very nice (20) clean and the bed was very comfortable. Hotel was a reasonable cost and would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to others.

Nestled in downtown. Staff and breakfast were great. Felt clean. If you like downtown access, this is a perfect place to stay. Parking is limited, not enough for every guest, may need to park on the street close by.

This was one of the sweetest, cleanest and well run hotels we have encountered. Although rooms are compact, they were beautiful, immaculate and complete. The staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times. The breakfast included in the price was phenomenal, both the buffet style and the menu driven complete English breakfast. Small parking area was available, no charge, in the rear and lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. A winner in all regards....

Beautiful property. Hotel is walking distance to several different bars, convenience stores, and the bus stop that goes to the city centre. Katarina and Morgan at the desk were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

Tara Lodge was truly a rare find. Oh! I so wish I could remember their names, but the two young ladies at the front on our last morning (early October 2023) were splendid. We were exhausted and both sporting head colds after (my) overplanning of our 10 days in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and having not factored in "weather (read: bracing wind and torrential downpours)" on our two big days down South on foot. They were lovely, helped to head off a taxi driver who arrived 3 hours early, and then brought us hot coffee and cookies while we waited… hacking up all sorts of horrible gunk from our lungs… in Tara Lodge's peaceful lounge for 30 minutes prior to departing by Black Cab. The breakfast was outstanding as well! We will definitely stay there again. The people and the location were amazing - we could walk everywhere, and the staff members were unswervingly wonderful.

Gem with SUPER helpful and friendly staff.
We only stayed at Tara Lodge one night but the experience was excellent. Very helpful staff. Large, clean,comfortable room, and great breakfast. Staff was able to guide us to a great local restaurant for dinner and great walking directions to where we were headed that evening. Highly recommend!

Tara Lodge is a wonderful and small hotel. Staff is very friendly, checkin was personal and quick, and the rooms look like they are kept up to date regularly. The hotel has limited parking on premise (arrive early) or free street parking along the road the hotel is on. Breakfast is a la carte, very tasty and served by friendly staff. Would stay here again!
