Central city hotelPosted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Quietly efficient and comfortable while convenient for all amenities
Cons: The lighting was a little too subdued especially in the corridors. Floor numbers opposite lifts could be better illuminated.
Location: The train/bus station were within 5 minutes walk. Excursion coaches left from next door and the Hop on bus stop also very close.
The hotel checking in and service generally was excellent. I was, unfortunately, stung by a wasp with severe consequences whilst on holiday there, the staff could not have been more helpful. The restaurant was good but the air conditioning over efficient! The beds very comfortable and we had the best sleep.

Location: excellent location , close to everything , able to walk anywhere
great experience from check in to check out. The TV in our room wasn't working ( and we wanted to do a bit of catching up on the tennis! ) We contacted Melissa on reception who said we could move our room , which we didn't want to so we had complimentary drinks in the bar and late check out at 2pm....she was extremely helpful. All the staff, reception ,housekeeping, concierge , bar and restaurant staff were excellent, very professional and accomadating . Afternoon tea on sunday before we left was lovely

Hyggelig mottakelse når vi kom. Hotellet ligger sentralt med kort vei til det vi hadde lyst til å se og oppleve.

Loved the Fitz.Posted Jun 11, 2015
My only criticism was that our tour guide had a hard time finding this wonderful hotel. Also, the wifi is annoying to sign into, but that is being picky. Nice, big rooms, comfortable king beds, fantastic baths.
