Watch out for Extra fees!Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Nice modern decour, clean room, friendly and courteous staff.
Location: Kalemegdan Park, and knez mihailova street. Very cool, best city for nightlife.
Get there after booking a 2 queen bed room. Get to room. Single queen bed. Ah, no problem, I'll make it work. I get a call, and they say "there are two of you, you only paid for one person". I say what the hell did you think I wanted 2 beds for? That I didn't get. So they say they will "try" and not charge me anything extra even though I got one bed. So I paid Expedia the $110 or whatever for the room up front, no cancellations, and I also get charged like $40 or $50 dollars (after conversion) on check out for some taxes, and 2 local phone calls (did I mention international calls are free, local calls are charged)? lol It was unique, but gave me the creeps. We were on the fourth floor, and there are these giant steel doors that could totally be closed and trap you on your floor for whatever reason (blocking both elevators and stairs), They were open, but it was strange. Call me paranoid, but I hated the idea of being potentially trapped. The room only had a very thing window....

Proximity to train station and old townPosted Apr 10, 2014
The location of the hotel is terrific: it is close to the bus and train stations, and close to airport bus A1 dropoff/pickup point. It is also within walking distance to the old city center and Knez Mihailova pedestrian street.

No Double GlazingPosted Mar 28, 2014
Pros: Restaurant discounts and free international calls.
Cons: First double Glazing, second rooms cleanines, third the drains, terrible drains have to shower up to your ancles in water as the drains sistem is bad.
Location: Close to the town center.
Over All terrible hotel to stay at, no doubble glazing, next to the trams that run from early mornings to late nights, not suitable for business at all but I would guess will be perfect for stag nights, discounts in the restaurant, very smoky as in smoking.

Very happyPosted Dec 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good location - approx 10 minutes (uphill!) walk to Republic Square - the de-facto city centre, and right next to the train station. On the correct side of the city centre for the Airport. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it to set us up for the day ahead.

No design hotel!Posted Nov 18, 2013
Bads which are not a real bass. Just mattress on mattress!!!! Without bad construction!!! And construction of windows are in really bad shape (sealed by "duck tape")!!! And of course cold wind and noise are like you are almost outside. Anyhow it is not design hotel in any way.

Good centrally located hotelPosted Sep 16, 2013
Pros: very comfortable mattresses!
Cons: noise-levels from bar underneath, I know I turn in a little early, but ear-plugs did help...
Location: just opposite the bus station, which was very convenient as I caught an early bus to Sarajevo in the morning. 10-15 minute walk to the old town area.
The hotel has a modern feel, smart, spacious rooms. There is a lounge area and nice breakfast selection. All the staff were very helpful, willing to help in any way. The TV didn't work to start with but someone was sent up to fix it pretty quickly.

Friendly staff and comfortable stayPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed in Design Hotel Mr President last week. The hotel is close to main autobus station and Teraziye street. Ask for rooms not facing the street. The staff at the reception are extremely friendly and explain everything clearly with always smiling faces. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated with the photos of ex-presidents. The breakfast is awesome but there are limited number of tables so try to go earlier if you like to have a bit of breakfast joy. I certainly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

Hotel was wonderful!Posted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed at Design Hotel Mr President last weekend and I was very impressed. The neighborhood gave me the impression the hotel may be disappointing, however, the hotel was anything but. The clean modern design was novel and enjoyable, the beds were super comfortable, and the water pressure made it quite possibly the most enjoyable shower of my life. The best part by far was the wonderful friendly staff. I can't say enough good things about them. Also worth mentioning is the breakfast buffet was really delicious. I plan to stay here again next time.
