Great little hotel in quaint historic area directly in city center. Room was comfortable with good AC. Staff was very friendly. There is live traditional music played outside on the street at night, but in my particular room it was not very loud (some other rooms might be closer). Would stay again.

The hotel was in a good location close to the old town and restaurants. However the only issue was that it was very noisy outside the hotel at nighttime making it difficult to get sleep

Terrible noisy apartments
The hotel is small, it is in Skadarlija, center of nightlife of Belgrade. The windows are looking to the street. Restourant with live music is just in front of your window. Restorant was not closed after finishing music, there was noise long time after that, than streat cleaners... Everithing is heard. There is nothing of that in hotel description on Expedia. When I came and sow that receptionist did not wanted to let me go. He told me that I paid and I have to stay there at least one night. Also he blocked money on my account after I came. He did not wanted to call the owners, becouse they sleap!!! It is very far from 4 stars (as tehy say on Expedia). From my expirience, I would give tham max 2 stars. It is middle clean, old furniture (not like the photos on Expedia), coople of things broken...

Very noisy
The hotel was situated in a good location to get into the town, however, it was so noisy every night we couldn't sleep. Two of the nights the parties and music went on until 5am.

Decent hotel in a very good location, right on Skadarlija. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating, however the rooms are small and not terribly good value for money.

There is only one guy working and he works from 9am to 5 pm . Here is not a hotel it is like a apart and very old building.old stuff...

On the party street
The hotel is quite nice. Very small and situated amongst most of the restaurants in Belgrade. We hadn't realised that it was actually on that street or we might have chosen elsewhere. The band in the restaurant was sited right under our window and played until one o clock each night. Good if you are in a party mood but not if you are looking for a quiet time. I will try to find somewhere quieter next time but wouldn't mind staying here again. Staff were helpful. No complaints apart from noise.

A B and B: Check in was very friendly, located in a convenient neighbourhood, did their best to mask the smell of smoke; one could enjoy the outdoor music well into the night from the room- by the way, the music may come in handy for an otherwise absent privacy. The price is definitely right.

The 2 staff members, ladies, that we met were very good in giving advice etc. though we know Belgrade well this is a great base from which to explore the city. Breakfast just around the corner was perfectly fine. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We loved the location of the hotel. Everything was walking distance, we've really enjoyed our stay. On our way back to Canada "cika Dusan gave us a ride to the airport" People are amazing from the check in to check out-all fast and easy. Love you guys, we will be back.

We found this place from the name and the reviews online, and it lived up to them. A cozy hotel in a very nice spot in town. The staff was helpful and friendly. There were a few cheaper options in town, but for a set of budget travelers, the plusses were worth it.

Loved our stay at the travelling actor! We stayed 5 nights and experienced a plane delay on our way which meant a really early morning arrival. We were so relieved to find our driver waiting. The receptionist was so helpful in planning some trips out of Belgrade. The area cannot be faulted. Only gripe was the room was slightly on the small side but well maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast was massive as all portions in Belgrade but limited options to choose from.

For those who like late nights and late breakfast
This is a nice hotel in a central location in Belgrade. It does have some disadvantages though. It is in the middle of the old district famous for music in its restaurants, and there is a restaurant above the rooms, which play music until about midnight, so if you like early nights this place is not for you. Also, this may be common in Serbia but breakfast is served 9-12am. So if you have planned something early (or have a business meeting like I did) this may not be ideal. Nevertheless I had a nice stay at this hotel. Having said that, the hotel room is nice and has everything you need, the hotel staff are friendly and the location is very central.

Great location. Very friendly.
They were very nice - even offering to pick me up from the airport. I declined but it was actually a very competitive rate. The location is great - both the walking street around the corner and the surrounding neighborhood. Plus it's very central to everything else too. My room was nice. I would stay again.

Good hotel, good location
I enjoyed staying at the Travelling Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location, on the corner of Skadalija and near to Republic Sq, is very convenient. I was in room 5 and my only criticisms would be (1) weak/inconsistent wifi access in the room; and (2) the shower is very small and placed strangely in the bathroom room so it is difficult to get in and out. But, otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Unfortunately I could only stay in Belgrade for one evening but this hotel and will be my place to stay every time I return. The hotel and staff can be rated second to none in a line up with anywhere else I have stayed,

Homely well priced hotel in an interesting quarter
Situated in an interesting cobbled quarter of the city, this is a small hotel with an efficient and distinctly helpful staff. The relatively few small rooms are comfortable, clean and well supplied; breakfast and free reliable wifi is included in the price. All in the en suite was very clean and worked as you would wish. A small drawback is that the hotel's restaurant is immediately outside the bedroom window - great for eating, but rather noisy at night with small musical bands playing not only here but in the several adjacent restaurants until 12.45am (in my experience with a brief reprise at 4.0am). That said, the windows and shutters did much to attenuate the sound and with breakfast being served from 9.0am, there was enough quiet time for a good sleep. I would certainly return there and recommend it to my friends.

Fantastic location
Great place for people who enjoy relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The hotel is set next to a wonderful street full of bars and restaurants with live music. Street is full of life until late hours and staying next to it and experiencing true Serbian lifestyle was the best experience from our visit in Belgrade. Hotel's staff was very helpful and cannot say anything bad about the place. If you are not open to other cultures, tolerant and wishing to take all Belgrade has to offer, do not stay there as Skadarska will keep you up till at least 1 or 2 am! :)

Definitely not 4 stars - 3 at best
The hotel is not a four star hotel. I would give it no more than 3 stars; although, the location does provide a very neat atmosphere. The room was very small and the shower did not have hot water. The staff was friendly, but we ate at the restaurant and were completely misled, coming out with a very bad taste in our mouths of the city.

Fine situation and very nice hotel
Really good situation for seeing the best of Belgrade on foot. The street is full of good restaurants and bars. Everything was first class except some people might find the shower room / toilet a bit on the small side. Really enjoyed the stay, the food at breakfast was very good with a nice choice of meals freshly prepared. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Ok, but still few points to improve
It is like an appartment hotel. It is nice and cosy, welcome is nice. However two points were negative : the heating is impossible to modify because it is central heating, so even in winter, you will maybe have to open your window during the night.. And it is noisy if you are on the street side. I could hear music from the restaurant or bar quite late.

tranquill oasis...
lovely little hotel. Good air-con which really was important when we were there! Friendly staff and in the perfect location. Belgrade was hot, sweaty and more than a little confusing (fab city tho, once I got used to it!) and this hotel and the street it was on was the perfect antidote - made it easy to enjoy the city.

Sehr freundliches Personal, Milan hat mir sogar bei der Bezahlung der Parkgebühren geholfen. Eigenes Restaurant mit sehr guten Speisen und traditioneller serbischer Live-Musik am Abend. Das Zimmer war einfach eingerichtet, aber mit allem was man braucht.

Nie wieder! Meine erste negative Bewertung!
Leider entsprach unser gebuchtes Zimmer überhaupt nicht den Bedingungen, zu denen wir es gebucht haben (Statt ein Doppelbet, bekamen wir zwei getrennte Betten - ein Fehler bei dem Buchen!). Die angezeigten Fotos entsprechen nicht dem tatsächlichen Zustand. Das Gebäude und der Eingang sind in einem maroden Zustand – es ist ein Raum im Erdgeschoss, sehr laut (integriert in ein Restaurant) und ohne jegliche Intimität; ohne Jalousien ist es de facto ein Schaufenster). Unser Zimmer war unglaublich klein, kaum für eine Person ausgestattet. Zwei Personen können sich hier auch nicht ordentlich bewegen. Möbel ist einfach katastrophal. Alles ist seit längst renovierungsbedürftig, Teppichboden ist ekelhaft, extrem verschmutzt, das Bad etwas besser, aber von einem ordentlichen Zustand sehr weit entfernt. Leider war der Aufenthalt das bezahlte Geld überhaupt nicht wert und ich schreibe zum ersten Mal eine negative Bewertung da es im Bezug auf die alternative ein Abzocken ist. Die Lage ist in Ordnung, die Personal bemüht sich und ist sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: eindeutig sehr schlecht.

The room you have booked is a standard twin, which mean room with twin beds. The room has shutters of course and a room service is denied.The accommodation is on a whole different level and has nothing related with the restaurant (different entrances). The guesthouse is located in a building protected by the national cultural monuments, Skadarlija.There are little things that could be promoted, but your impression is far from realistic. I'm not sure, that I would consider it 4 star material. But the place was fine. The host was very welcoming, and they have a restaurant connected to the hotel, which mean your breakfast is a freshly made omelette. This is very nice, but if you stay a few nights, you'd probably miss some variation in the breakfast. Also beware of the coffee - I don't know if it's turkish or what, but it was definitely something special. In general we found the place overpriced.

Fantastyczne warunki w świetnej lokalizacji
Bardzo fajny hotel zlokalizowany przy ulicy Skadarlija - najbardziej klimatycznym deptaku w Belgradzie. Fantastyczna obsługa - uśmiechnięta, pomocna i bardzo kompetentna. Bardzo dobre śniadanie np. świetny omlet z dodatkami i cappuccino. Śniadanie jest serwowane od godziny 9 rano w restauracji przy deptaku Skadarlija. W przypadku wczesnego wymeldowania jest możliwość dostania śniadania na wynos (bardzo dobrych kanapek) - trzeba tylko wcześniej o tym powiedzieć na recepcji. Pokój i łazienka są czyste, wygodne, chociaż dość małe. W pokoju jest lodówka z drinkami (dodatkowo płatne), klimatyzacja, telewizor, Wi-Fi bezpłatne, szafa, szafki nocne, biurko i krzesło oraz bardzo wygodne łóżko i suszarka do włosów w łazience. Rolety zewnętrzne pozwalają odciąć światło i muzykę z ulicy. Bardzo polecam ten hotel.

Απ εξω μοιαζει με ερειπιο αλλα μεσα ειναι συμπαθητικο. Η πορτα του ξενοδοχειου τριζει υπερβολικα και αν μεινετε σε δωματιο του ισογειου θα σπασουν τα νευρα σας. Δεν εχει φαγητο μεσα στο ξενοδοχειο. Τα γευματα σερβιρονται σε ενα υπογειο εστιατοριο διπλα ακριβως. Συμπαθεστατο αλλα οχι για πρωι. Ειναι σε πολυ καλο σημειο στο κεντρο.
