A good stayPosted Oct 14, 2013
It wa low season when I stayed in Belize City so there were many renovations happening. The staff was kind enough to not start repairs too early or go on too late, so it wasn't a problem. All of the staf were helpful, friendly, and genuinely pleasant people. The trips out into Belize City (pretty sketchy) were all arranged by the hotel. The hotel driver waited for me while I did a couple of quick errands so I wouldn't be stranded in a seedy neighborhood.

Think about your clientelePosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: Close to airport
Cons: Customer service.
Location: Middle of nowhere
Arrived to hotel, not given help with bags, AC was off in room, fridge off in room, no shower curtain, and the cleaner ON DAY ONE, barged into room. Suggest that if we were not there things would have been missing.

The hotel was close to the airport/city.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: The bars, pool, and restaurant were great. I also set up day-trips at the gift shop, which made things easy.
Cons: Add a fridge and lock-box to the rooms.
Location: Close to the airport and city center.
The hotel had a great restaurant and bar staff. The rooms were nice, but I lock box and fridge would have made them better.

Nice Hotel - Book A Room Away From The FunctionsPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed on a Saturday night - they had 2 functions going on, our room was close to both of them. It turned out to be a very loud and noisy night. Apart from that the room was extremely large, and very comfortable. Location is poor, you are 3 miles outside the city center.

Don't eat here.Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: location, nice very helpful staff, pool. the room was OK
Cons: The food was worse than terrible.
Location: Nothing nearby, have to take a taxi everywhere. Good Lebanese restaurant across the street which saved us.
Hotel was fine, unfortunately the food was worse than terrible.

Dated hotel, absolutely not worth the pricePosted Jul 6, 2013
Cons: Facility. Paint on walls. Replace doors. Restaurant look like a comedor on a fast foid chain. Not ambiance.
Location: Far from town. Taxi runs $25 each way. To airport same money each way.
Facility is very tired. Old and dated. In room, cheap decorations. Bed not comfortable. Front desk employees not very friendly nor efficient. Waiters and bartenders very friendly but manager wouldnt let.one of the girls whom didnt feel well, leave. Thats not right. Room wasnt very clean. Food was tasty. Overall this can be a 2 star hotel and should worth like such. We paid a lot of money and it was not worth what we paid.

Convenient to BZE airport, but priceyPosted Jun 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Relative to hotels worldwide, this hotel is only a 3 (out of 5) rating. But don't let that turn you away, because relative to Belize City hotels, this property is a very good option -- trustworthy, reliable, clean, safe, and contains all the standard amenities expected in hotels in the US and Canada. This is an especially good option for travelers needing a place to stay for one night before departing from BZE. Only ~10 minute drive to the airport along Northern Highway. Of the hotels I'd trust in Belize City, this is the closest to BZE. For dining, there is a hotel restaurant, but it is overpriced and the food is horrendous. I'd recommend Sahara, a Lebanese restaurant directly across the street of the hotel -- clean interior, good food, A/C. Pros: + A/C works well once turned up + great pool, very clean + spacious rooms with sufficient number of electrical outlets Cons: - bathroom has jalousie windows, so a lot of exterior noise comes in - older/dated fixtures, flooring, etc. (but this is generally par for the course in Belize) - WiFi didn't work in 1st room we were put in, but worked fine once we were moved to a different room - ceiling fan didn't work in either of the 2 rooms - EXPENSIVE; I had to pay $170 USD/night during low season!

review of airport hotelPosted Mar 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
the hotel was fine. we wanted to be close to the airport so that we would make our flight out back to the states for sure. the hotel had a pool, fitness center, bar (for those who drink ) and a restaurant and gift shop...all helpful...i like 5 star hotels but the price was right and this hotel got the job done!!
