Well run B n B.

Posted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Proximity to beach, hotel and availability of bikes. Teri makes your stay a pleasant one.
Cons: Greater variety at breakfast.
Location: Go into town and try the various eateries. Go biking north.
The owner Peg wants you to have an enjoyable experience and fusses over every detail. She has a most able assistant Teri who know almost everyone on the Caye.

The best B&B in San Pedro!

Posted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: The location, the staff, the food, the beds, the hammocks...everything!!
Location: It was located near the local airport (we didn't hear any planes from our room), near the grocery store, restaurants, beaches and dive shops.
Staying at Changes in Latitudes was an amazing experience for our first time in Belize. We were greeted by Terri who was so helpful and full of information. She was so kind and provided us with a pre-paid cell phone for our stay incase we needed anything. She arranged our scuba dives for us with a local dive company that was perfect and had a golf cart and bikes readily available for our use. This B&B was unique with the yard having lovely seating and eating spaces outside along with hammocks hung above the sand. The room was very comfortable and the AC was a blessing. The fridge was stocked with beer and water, we appreciated this as we came in late! The breakfast was incredible!! Fresh coffee, juice, fruit and amazing cooking/baking. The beach was a 1 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again!!

Must Stay!

Posted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: The beds were comfortable and the ac was great. The best part would have to be the full breakfast that they made soon as you woke up.
Cons: I would not change a thing!
Location: We did a lot of shopping but we took boats to do our main events
Terri was the greatest whatever we needed she was there. We met with her every day and we said what we wanted to do for the next day. She made all our reservations and she had the cab waiting for us in the morning. She did not have to but she gave us a local cell phone and put emergency numbers in it Easter was the house keep and she made a wonderful breakfast for us every day. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed inside. Without them the trip would not have been the same. I will for sure come back and stay her every time.

Charming and quaint, pleasant staff

Posted Jul 23, 2013
Cons: there were no TVs in the room. but there really wasn't room for one
Location: mystical adventures snorkel shop right on the beach near the hotel provided excellent snorkel excursions
this was a charming hotel with excellent customer care. service with personalized. there was a very nice little reception with drinks in the courtyard and the mojitos were great. they even made some non alcohol ones for those who didn't drink. the room was very small but very well kept . there wasn't room in the room for a chair. cheers were provided right outside the door however and the courtyard was charming. the resident lizards were so funny they would beg at the table like little dogs for for breakfast. be sure to ask for them oatmeal pancakes for breakfast they were to die for covered in caramelthe only deficiency in the room other than the small size was that the toilet seat didn't fit the toilet. it was an uncomfortable fit.

Nice room, nice staff.

Posted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: The locker for the diving equipment, the bed, the mojito night, the free bikes.
Cons: A place to wash the feet next to the room, so we could prevent to bring sand inside the room.
Location: It's well located next to the center of the island. Near a pier where the diving operators pick us up to the divings. Next to Pinochio, nice pizza.
We booked for 3 days and decided to stay 2 days more. It's a little hotel but the room was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, the towels and the sheets were new and of good quality. They surprise us each morning with a different breakfast. Peg, the owner, and Terry, the manager, are very nice people. Terry was very helpful in booking our divings and giving us tips about restaurants and what to do and visit on the island. She speaks Spanish what was good for me because I speak Spanish better than English. Another thing I loved was the locker outside the room to store the wet diving equipment. So, I would definitely stay here again.

Sweet location

The new owner and staff are the highlight of this place. Super friendly and helpful, nice breakfast to start your day right. Improvements underway to provide new mattresses/linens and refrigerators in rooms. Better AC units in rooms would be a great improvement, particularly during hot months Great location for walking or using complimentary bicycles to get around San Pedro. Highly recommended.

Awesome B and B in San Pedro

Posted May 15, 2013
Location: Beach, snorkel tours, restaurants are all near
Staff/ owners were incredibly friendly and helpful with local activities and suggestions. The hotel itself is charming, well kept and has everything you need from hammocks, to free bike rentals, to a well stocked fridge with beer and water. Would stay here again anytime I am in the area.

Not for us

Posted Mar 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
We booked the hotel for six nights and left after one night - despite the fact that everything was prepaid. In equal parts, we didn't like the location (right at a busy street where you can hear the golf carts drive by all night) and we didn't like the hotel (we didn't mind the tiny room, but everything looked kind of run down. The shades were falling apart to a point where people could actually look inside at night from the outside. Didn't feel good at all. The courtyard is beautiful and we would have loved to hang out there, but the noise from the street wasn't for us at all. The one breakfast we had was amazing!). If you know and like the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, this might be exactly what you want - there are a number of bars nearby. We had expected something much quieter and didn't like it at all. In fact, we ended up booking a hotel at other end of the island for the rest of the stay and loved every minute of the seclusion, beautiful sea and sun.

Friendly, relaxing island vibe

Posted Feb 21, 2013
Pros: Josimer, the daytime manager, and the breakfasts from Ester
Cons: room was a bit small but you don't go to paradise to spend a lot of time in a hotel room
Fabulous breakfasts; personable staff; free bike access so we could explore the area; close to beachfront; relaxing patio with hammocks and Elvis, the ever-present iguana. Far enough away from the noise of the downtown area but close enough to access restaurants and other activities; Staff will set up tours for snorkling with Alphons, terrific water guide.
