Would stay here againPosted Jul 14, 2015
We arrived after a long day of traveling. 3 females in their 20's. We arrived to be told they had no knowledge of our booking which had already been paid for. Hotel manager said he would pay the hotel next door for us to stay there and provide a rollout bed for us as they did not have enough beds. Stated they had no pool either so we could use our original hotels pool. After 30 mins they found our booking and were allowed to stay at Island Magic. Manager offered us a free drink which was appreciated. After this it was pretty much smooth sailing, although wifi would not work. Hotel was in a good spot - clean enough rooms. Beach out the front not swimmable but nor is most of that zone - you need to go further down to the split which is fine. Hotel pool was not clean at all - we did not go in. You could not see the bottom of the pool it was that filthy. Room was big enough for 3 people. A big kitchen also featured. Would definitely recommend coming to caye caulker and would stay here again.

Very nice rooms and a great pool.Posted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Guestroom, pool and views. Front office booked our day trip to Nohoch Che'en Caves (cave tubing) and we were very happy with our transport and guide.
Cons: The onsite bar was not very lively or inviting, ended up going to other bars and restaurants.
Location: Easy access to everything on the island. Water taxi is very close and they sell tickets in the office which made it even easier.
The guestroom had everything we needed: a balcony with a great view, kitchen facilities, very nice bathroom, lovely décor and air conditioning that worked well. The pool was large with enough seating and some shaded areas around the pool deck. Great views of the beach from the upper pool deck. Location on the island allowed easy access to everything, including activities, great restaurants and bars.

Nice on outside. Very average inside.Posted May 5, 2015
Average motel 6 but near a man made beach. Bar closed majority of time spent there. No one around. AC not great.

Best hotel on islandPosted Feb 21, 2015
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was given the best room in the house! Walk out balcony to the amazing pool and beach bar. Rooms were clean and big! Staff was also very friendly. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay!Posted Feb 19, 2015
We loved our stay at Island Magic Beach Resort! The staff was helpful, friendly and trustworthy. The room was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, as well as a refrigerator and microwave and stove top. The wifi worked well. Also, the room had a safe where we could store our valuables while we were out and about during the day. The pool was clean and the bar had amazing snacks. It's in a tranquil part of the island, within sight of an amazing Italian restaurant (Pasta Per Caso). We were within a five minute walk of the dock where our water taxi first brought us to the island. We could see the belize barrier reef from our balcony. If we ever come back, we'll stay there again!

Pros: Great location, spacious room with kitchenette so we could do our own breakfast. Private hammock on the room's terrace.
Cons: The bathroom needs an extractor fan. The floor gets a bit dirty, but hard to avoid given all the sand on the island.
Location: Caye Caulker is amazing!
Loved Caye Caulker - so relaxed and laid back and lots to do (snorkelling trips etc). Great food and drink too. Great location for the hotel - only 2 minute walk to the main area of the islands with lots of restaurants and the water taxi but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Great to have the hotel's own private jetty, pool and bar. Very spacious room and loved the hammock!

Great servicePosted Feb 6, 2015 on Hotels
Emailed to see if we could easily get to the island after a noon arrival following a 20 hour journey. They offered and did arrange a driver to pick us up at hotel(for about the taxi fee) and take us to water taxi where tickets to the caye were waiting. Met us at dock and took us to hotel. Room not fancy but spacious and very pleasant. First floor street side but quite. would stay there again. Pool, "beach", bar, tanning area all great.
