One of the best resort in the island. The hotel is beautiful, nice and clean beach. The staff was great and the service was excellent. The restaurant O is also really good. Highly recommened.

Peaceful idyllic spot.Posted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Las Terrazas is a beautiful resort located 3-4 miles north of the town of San Pedro. This does mean in order to have more choices of restaurants etc, you have a little distance to travel. It's was not a problem for us. We enjoyed being away from town and used the bikes or golf carts provided by the hotel to get there when we so wanted to. The hotel itself is a gem. The staff, everyone of them, we're exceptional. Friendly, helpful and attentive. We would stay here again and again. It is truly wonderful!

Beautiful, Amazing hotel near the beach!Posted Jun 12, 2013
Pros: Everything about this hotel was top notch. The staff, rooms, pool, food, spa... we tried it all. All were perfect. Best massages we've ever had!
Cons: No Complaints at all. I loved it!
Location: The location is great if you are looking for a quiet break. They have their own dive shop and offer many interesting tours. Its a bit far to town.
I cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff was amazing! The hotel was immaculate and the rooms were outstanding. The food was top notch and the pool was perfect. This is a great place to go take a quiet break. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. From the moment we arrived the experience was off to a good start. They meet you at the pier with refreshing punch and lavender mint towels. The dining near the pool was nice and cool. Another plus was the spa. We had massages and facials and they were probably the best we've ever had. One thing to keep in mind is that it a little far from San Pedro and the water taxi is $25. We took a golf cart one day and I wouldn't recommend that. So plan your trips to town accordingly. I will go back to Las Terrazas time and time again. It is a wonderful place to take a break!

Wonderful ExperiencePosted Nov 11, 2012
Pros: Highly recommend the private dinner for 2 on the beach.
The staff was wonderful. It was the first time in Belize for my wife and I. Can't say enough about the genuine warmth of the people at the hotel.

Loving Las TerrazasPosted May 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel's chic Mediterranean design was gorgeous within the rooms and around the property. The pool was so beautiful that is seemed to be the gathering space for most of the guests as well as the occasional bird who wanted to partake in the action. We were in a villa (1 bedroom) with full kitchen that was perfect for taking a few groceries, drink mix, snacks along with us. We were on a bit of a budget, so tried to prepare to not always be eating out every meal. Belize is not cheap with regards to food so come prepared. "O" restaurant's calamari was fantastic as is their ginger lemonade (with vodka). Service was outstanding across the board. The location was perfect for the honeymooner or mature couple who just wanted to get away. It is a very quiet location so keep that in mind if you want to going out. Not to worry though, a water taxi will have you in San Pedro in no time, if you want to go to the Chicken Drop on the Thursday night!

Secluded luxuryPosted Apr 25, 2012
Pros: Great place to relax
Cons: Power outage and weak Wifi. Some kitchen selections not up to par.
Location: Way off the beaten path.
Very nice hotel in a seculded part of an already secluded island. Want rest and relaxation? This is the place. Want partying and excitement. Stay away. I wanted the rest so it was perfect. Ways out of town with the only means of transport being the hotel boat or water taxi. Hotel boat is too expensive so stick with the taxi; couple of dollars per person each way. Wished the hotel offered some kind of shuttle service but since the taxi works so well may not be necessary. Hotel staff are very attentive and available. Watch out for power outages. We went half a night and half a day without power. Wind knocked out line apparently. Wifi could be a lot better. Seems like there is one access point at the front desk which provides a very week signal to most of the property. Do use the free kayaks to paddle out to reef for snorkeling. Worth the effort. Some of the items from the kitchen are quite good and others not so much. Hamburgers are atrocious but the shrimp quesadilla are very good. Rooms are are clean and in good working order but that's expected from a luxury hotel anyway. Don't expect to swim on the beach though as there is too much sea grass so you end up swimming off the far end of the dock. Watch out for taxi drivers and other tourist trade people, they'll rip you off given the opportunity. Seems like everything has a cost every time you turn around but that's more a comment on the area rather than the hotel.
