Noise was the biggest factor. We had an Ocean view room hoping for serene and quiet, but the next door all night karaoke that blasted until 4am was nerve wracking. The louvered windows in the bathroom was a privacy concern too. Only service person that was pleasant was the parking security.

I liked the location and the ocean view. Close proximity to the park and night life. The service in the hotel was very spotty. Difficult to get any assistance from room service to the bar down in the main lobby. The service at the restaurant was a bit more pleasant.

A disgrace to the Ramada and Windham names! The hotel needs a complete overhaul, new paint everywhere, repairs, updating, deep cleaning and scrubbing, staff that smile instead of looking bored with their job! We’re back to last century, noisy A/C with the only positives being good WIFI, ocean view through not very clean windows, and a good choice of TV channels, the yard is a disaster, ditto around the pool, they claim to have an Olympic pool when the depth is less than 3 feet except for a very small area at 4 ft. .. and watch where you walk barefoot around the pool, you can hurt your feet on broken tiles or gravel. If you stay the week-end, don’t count on sleeping much with the open-air disco across the street blasting music over 4 or 5 blocks and the bass resonating inside your bedroom. Any complaint is ignored by the staff. Room service is unreliable. The Casino is guarded by too many unpleasant goons to count, casino staff mostly unfriendly. No wonder there are no European tourists in the hotel, and very few Canadians and Americans! The restaurants with its indifferent staff is overly priced and the quality mediocre. No wonder it is empty most of the time. One pleasant supervisor I talked to in the Casino explained that the staff is underpaid and therefore not happy at work, I pointed out that they could cut the number of staff in half and pay them more to improve service and he agreed. Not a very pleasant experience, even the lit-up RAMADA sign outside is burnt out. We

Need some care. It would be nice to be able to crack a window just a tiny bit for the sea breeze. But you can see light through the ill fitting door. Lots of poor maintenance. The view is still stunning with the sunrise. I hope this place gets the care it needs. No one knew the year it was built. Some of the old character is there. Free breakfast was nice. The fish sandwich in the restaurant was not edible. Stale bread. Cold fries. Fish tasted off. The staff are great!

The lobby is very nice. The staff are friendly. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Safe didn’t work. Casino and poker room fun, friendly. Pool clean and nice. Surrounding the pool looks like it has been abandoned. For the price I thought it was worth it. Needs work but reflected in the price. Breakfast very good and included!

It suited our purpose for the last night of our stay in Belize. It was air conditioned and had a restaurant on the property so we did not have to go anywhere. Part of our party enjoyed the pool.

This was truly false advertising. The photos online did not represent the property. The property is rundown. My room furniture was dated. The tub and sink had chips, toilet would not flush completely, chair had a burn / print of a hot iron burned into it, knobs on sink were missing, even after housekeeping the floor was still dirty. Poor internet service and non-inside the hotel rooms. The buffet was so bad we did not eat. The buffet had very limited choices if you had a choice at all. If you have every stayed at a Wyndham property this property would not be one that you would ever stay at again. Overall, this is a poor example of a Wyndham property. I could go on about how poorly this property is being run.DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

A very tired old property. Certainly not up to Ramada's usual standard as we have come to know it. Pool area horrible. Chairs in need or replacement. Staff were good and did the best they could. Rooms old. Never felt safe here. Paint peeling, slippery floors. Generally just dirty feeling.

Great stay! We got 5th floor corner unit with unbelievable view over ocean! Very good food. We are not gamblers but casino is downstairs if you play. Anyway great stay!

I booked despite several bad reviews because it is under new management and I have reasonable expectations. My room was fine, i had hot water and everything worked. The bed was comfortable and i got a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast and the entertainment options were great. I would consider staying here again if in Belize City.

The first night there were some hiccups with the plumbing in the whole hotel and air condition conditioning in our room. But by the time we came back a few days later everything was great! Very good breakfast in the mornings !

Unfortunately It was not up to my standards. We booked 2 nights and ended up staying only the 1st one because we were too tired to leave right way. The bathroom was old, busted pipe on the shower spraying water everywhere during use. It smelled moldy and the water smells as well. Expedia advertises game room for the kids and the pool pictures, lol do not get fooled by it. There is no game room, its been closed for years they said. Although the staff was amazing ( the kitchen also did a good job at the restaurant), the hotel overall is poor maintained and taken care of. The pool area is a shame, dead insects, small bugs inside pool. No one swimming there. The pool bar is totally destroyed with boards and wires hanging everywhere. Lots of potential but poor management I guess. The have a convenient snack shop located inside the hotel and a taxi cia as well. So this area was not for us and will not stay again at this location Islands are ok though. They ferry is about 5min drive from this hotel and they have some local vendors.
