“Awesome experience, nicest staff ever”

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Royal Caribbean. The room was huge and super clean. We booked four excursions through the hotel (snorkling at shark ray alley, blue hole, cave tubing/zip lining) and got setup with fair prices. They made it super easy and answered all of our questions. They also booked our golf cart, flights to the mainland, and even called a doctor for us when my girlfriend's asthma got bad. You won't find a nicer staff anywhere on the island. On a side note, while you're on the island, make sure to check out Palapa bar. It's north of "the bridge" so you'll need to take a golf cart, but it's the coolest bar I've ever been to. It's basically a big hut at the end of a dock. Super fun, laidback bar.

“Wonderful stay.”

This is a great resort with a nice beach, dock, and view. The casitas are extremely comfortable, AC works great, hot and cold water, sink, fridge, etc. Cons: There is no restaurant on-site and San Pedro is a 2.5 mile walk. You can walk on the beach the entire way to town, which is a far superior alternative to walking on the main road. My girlfriend and I would definitely stay here again.

“Ambergris Caye-Belize”

The hotel is about 2 miles out of town-so need golf cart or rent bicycles ($9/day), to shop and go back and forth. Nicely painted cabins with ample room for 2, with small fridge and microwave. Super pool (big) and for the snorkelling you can get picked up at the dock. Overall a good experience and value for the money.

“I will go back and stay there again”

It is a quiet place to stay with a beautiful beach. It is nothing fancy but has what you need and the cabana worked well for us. I would highly recommend it is you are looking for a quiet, laid back place to stay.

“Will be back!”

A nice quiet place to stay! Very simple cabins but clean. The Sand Bar Resturant was great. Also, the beach was nice and quiet.

“"Be back soon" "Wish we didn't have to leave!"”

The Royal Caribbean was absolutely the best. We met great people, staff, other customers and critters. The weather held out for us; a little too windy but still awesome. The beach was a little disappointing in that there was piles of seagrass piled up making it difficult to swim. But all it all awesome. Next time hope to buy some property!!

“Some wicked good”

The place was nice, open, clean and had a good restraunt/bar and you can walk the beach into town. Not bad, but it's a long walk, which might be a good thing.

“idylic chalet hideaway”

on arriving to san pedro (we had to take a cessna plane because the ferry service was having "another day off". a great experience in itself, and not much dearer than the original water taxi!!!) the islands small area of paved roads was awash with golf buggys driven by the locals only. in fact i was amazed by the few tourists that were there!! the royal caribbean hotel is a fair way from town centre, approx 5-6 minutes in a taxi, i believe we were the only people staying in the chalets, yet they were fantastic. the pastel coloured huts were very clean, modernly furnished and would far prefer to stay here than the hustle and bustle of the main part of the island. the large swimming pool was deserted, whilst the beach was lovely the sea was not for swimming simply because of the amount of sea weed. the views were idilyic, the people fantastic. there was no food included in the deal so i cant speak of the breakfasts etc. anyway half the fun is the 10-15 minute walk into town where there are plenty of eateries. looking at the other options i´d say this one wasn´t the cheapest by a long way but excellent quality. i´d recomend to anyone!! in summary belize is the most expensive place we came across in central america so be prepared to spend some money!!

“Stunning Island”

Hotel was a little of the beaten path and did not offer breakfast. There are only a microwave and fridge in the room and nowhere to get food close by. The hotel was quiet, clean and relaxing.

“Nice private "cottage" on the sea”

If you aren't looking for "Glitz & Glamour" this is a very quiet and private little cottage setting. The cottage was clean and the staff is very friendly. But then everyone in San Pedro is very friendly!!! The pool is great and it is right on the ocean. The little kitchette is just that...little. There is a small fridge no freezer; a microwave, no stove; a teapot but no coffee pot. The rates are good and everything is a short walk or taxi ride away.
