Good standard, service minded personnel and picturesque surrounding.

Soulless conference centrePosted Jul 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The description and photos online are misleading. This is not a pretty, luxurious chateau hotel, but a bland conference centre attached to a chateau by an ugly plastic walkway. The staff on reception were rude and curt. The hotel looks modern on the outside, but is already quite dated on the inside. The gym and leisure facilities were overcrowded and the restaurant had no atmosphere. I would not recommend this as a holiday destination.

Beautiful GroundsPosted Jun 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel grounds are beautiful very restful. Cleaning and reception staff were great. Unfortunately I found the evening Restaurant staff less so, which would definitely affect my choice of whether to stay there again as there is no other choice of restaurant on the grounds and Room service uses the same staff. Other than that, the breakfast was delicious. There's plenty of parking. Only some of the rooms are air conditioned, so if you go when it could be hot, the alternative of a fan in the room, doesn't really make much impact.

Nice for a relaxing weekendPosted Apr 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for the weekend during a work event. Staff was very helpful and facilities were very clean. I just wish there was a regular shuttle to the train station because there's no way to access this place without a car.

Events, Business & Conference centrePosted Sep 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great venue for a wedding or conference; wonderful setting and high levels of cleanliness BUT if you think you'll be staying in the Chateau you'll be disappointed. Bedrooms and restaurant all in a separate modern building - and main dining room closed on Sunday nights!

Where have you been hiding?Posted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel just outside Paris and within 3 hrs of Calais Ferries and tunnel. Although it isn't the cheapest they should do more to promote themselves

Not really an overnight stop hotelPosted Sep 28, 2012
This is a conference centre hotel. While it may offer comprehensive facilities for conferences and Spa breaks, it is less suited for holiday type visits. Ambience is international and not especially French. Food adequate but expensive.

Château hotel for half the price of a CDG carparkPosted Sep 28, 2012
Pros: Comfortable bed, fantastic grounds, quiet location
Cons: Too few staff
It's a long walk from the car part to the reception to the room if you have heavy bags and there was no assistance offered from the staff. I also had to wait 10 minutes to pay my bill in an empty bar. Other than these minor points (that I could have solved by being more vocal if I'd wished) it was an extremely relaxing and comfortable hotel and an amazing alternative to staying at the airport. I would happily stay there again. One improvement suggestion would be for the dining room - it was empty when I wanted to dine there and the combination of very bright lights and a high ceiling made for a very uncomfortable and self-conscious ambience ... I chose room service as a result. (PS: You don't stay in the actual château part sadly)

A Conference Centre hotelPosted Sep 10, 2012
Pros: The grounds are very nice, with old trees, a canal, etc.
Cons: No air conditioning - sweltering in the summer
Location: Out in the countryside, a bit hard to find but still accessible.
This is a conference centre and is appointed accordingly. Most expectations are met, but the hotel should be avoided in summer months, as it lacks room air conditioning. Also, count on eating elsewhere, there are few facilities in the hotel.
