This hotel was better that what I expected. Our room was nice with a beautiful fireplace. If there is one thing that could be improved is to put standard size pillows on the beds. I found the pillows small for adults.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We order our pillows from a hospitality provider which are a standard size pillow. I think it is just the way the housekeeping does them. I am sorry if you found them small.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and informative. Breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold choices. All in all, a good place to get away in March, during the off-season.

It was quiet. Couple things I don’t think was right - cigarette butt inside our room likely tracked in as there was an ash tray on the ledge outside. - at breakfast we were told the chef was not in and if we wanted anything cooked we’d have to cook our own.

Thank you for your comments, this time of year when we are slower we offer a reduced rate and a continental breakfast only. When the occupancy is higher we bring in our chef to do breakfast. When he/she is not in we do continue to offer the option for the guest to have eggs, if they like , that they can prepare on their own. I hope that we might welcome you to the inn again in the future.

We liked the quiet location of the property. A highlight was the art gallery on the property with a beautiful sculpture garden. Also the complimentary breakfast was a surprise that it was a full breakfast. Of course we enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting .

The pics on the website are dated and not accurate! They have totally refurbished the rooms and they are absolutely gorgeous! Huge rooms with a living room, Jacuzzi and huge comfy bed. Plus there is a patio! Massive grounds with an outdoor Sculpture gallery walk. Free flight of wines. Wine tour and breakfast in am. 10 minutes from Downtown Picton.

We couldn't open our patio door in our bedroom, if so, lots of flys would come into our room, furthermore, there were lots of dead flies on the floor of the door, not pleasant to see. Also shortstaffed for breakfast, no one explained to us what the menu was or where some of the food was. Loved the pizza though and the complimentary Rose.

We are very sorry you had issues with the patio door, We will have our maintenance person check into it . Sometimes it gets very busy in the breakfast area, we have one attendant and the chef working daily, Glad you enjoyed the pizza and Rose .

The view of the vineyard is great. We like the arts gallery and sculpture garden. We didn't like that it about 30 minutes drive to town to shop and eat.

Beautiful apartment like room, the complimentary winery tasting and tour was a nice surprise. For a continental breakfast, it was great - fresh omelets made in front of you. Close to other wineries and great places to dine. I'd recommend this inn to anyone!

Expensive but so is everywhere around there. Nice facilities, nice winery, very neat to see the art work. Only issue was if you didn’t ask the right question, you wouldn’t find out about anything. We didn’t know we had to lock our room door after we left, we didn’t really get how the breakfast worked, we didn’t know how to get our rating flight- so once we asked the questions we got the answers and everyone was nice just would have loved to be offered the information.

Good morning, on check in we always go over items such as wine tastings, breakfast, complimentary wine voucher for tastings etc and there is also a recap sheet with restaurants etc that is given at the desk. We have info in the guest rooms as well . At any time we can provide additional information as staff are available 24 hours a day at the front desk. I hope that you have an opportunity to visit our sculpture garden and gallery as well during your stay.
