It's a beautiful setting for the property and the room was comfortable, had access to outside through the patio doors and there was 24 hr access to coffee/tea. A full breakfast was freshly made upon your arrival during breakfast hours to the dining area. It was a lovely, informal setting and the bed was super comfortable. I did not watch any TV but supposedly there was Apple TV as well as regular stations available. The staff and manager were friendly and accessible.

Beautiful setting close to town. Short walk to lake where you can walk along the beach. Comfortable beds in well appointed rooms. Great service. Delicious breakfast. I would definitely stay here again when I’m in that area.

Beautiful building with only 10 rooms, all very comfortable, and with a wonderful shared lounge and a good sized kitchen with full fridge to share. Great for small family groups.

It is a unique property that allows you to use spaces other than just your room. Breakfast was amazing (try the jams!!). Slightly out of the way, but we’ll worth the drive. Stayed there twice now.

Nestled nicely in the woods with spacious rooms and well kept, clean and accessible amenities! And just a short walk to an accessible waterfront for lake swimming or use the spotless heated pool!

I booked here because my grandson is very. allergic to my dog and found out upon arrival that there were 2 dogs there owned by other guests. He became weazy and had to use his puffers. 😕. The staff were helpful and I loved the quiet. The breakfasts were very good. I would stay there again.

Plage privée éloignée et pas de plage car l'eau était trop haute. Manque d'eau chaude, elle coupait et l'on prenait la douche à l'eau froide. Bruyant, on entendait tous les enfants du voisinage dans notre chambre (ceux de la chambre à côté et ceux en haut).

Very tired property. Not much attention to detail. Torn bath matt, thin bally duvet, stained lamp shade, random poop bag on porch outside my slider.

Would Stay Again In a Heartbeat!
What a gorgeous gem in Brighton. I have to say I was a little caught off guard at first when I realized it was a massive "house" with multiple bedrooms but wow, what an amazing stay! I slept soundly in my king room on the top floor and loved having access to the shared kitchen - and don't even get me started on the pool! Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or to just treat yourself, Timber House Resort is a great spot. Plus they're incredibly responsive through their text messaging system so you can ask all the questions you like - just as I did haha! You can't go wrong staying here when exploring Brighton and the Bay of Quinte.

A nice touch!
Very well organized. The room was very large. We were on the main floor with a sliding door. This was so convenient because we had a dog with us. The breakfast to order was a surprise! The homemade muffin was delicious!

Room 2, main floor across from kitchen and main lobby, in between 2 public washrooms. Negative: some dust on top of wooden bookcase. Bed needs mattress to be less concave in middle. Armchair needs cushion replacement. Screen door need replacement or repair. Sliding door at bottom needs cleaning. Armour doors need WD40 very squeaky. Ac remote control still works, but needs replacement. Bar Bath/hand soap require better quality for skin. Bar Face soap was ok. Didn’t try shampoo or lotion. Would not like this room if there was a big event as it would be too noisy and upper floors would be too heavy footed under stairs. Positive: nice and helpful staff, lovely location, delicious breakfast and had a warm and friendly, rustic, pioneer vibe.

The room was light and Airy and beautiful. The whole place was beautiful and homey and comfortable. The swimming pool was decent size, space the lake was within walking distance. The staff was absolutely amazing, especially lucy! there was Wildlife around, which we really enjoy. I don't think there was a part of it that I didn't enjoy.

This is a lovely spot nestled in a wooded area. My room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, featuring antique furniture pieces that created a warmly welcoming vibe. Breakfast is served daily, but I was sadly unable to partake, due to my schedule. This was the perfect choice for my stay in Brighton.
