I have traveled a lot but never have I seen a place that is so pleasing to all of the senses. An art gallery, outdoor sculptures and perenial flowers and a wine tasting room that you can walk to from the lodging building make this a pleasant place to stay. Very interesting tour of the wine making facility too. Learned why it costs more to grow grapes in this region than other warmer parts of the world. Once the restaurant is open for dinner it will be even better. The region is beautiful and even though I grew up in Ontario I had no idea that this area had such beautiful beaches and vineyards. Who needs Napa and Somoma when you can experience the laid back old world style of Price Edward County.

We had a great stay once all the winkles were ironed out. Our original room was on the second floor, as my wife has a bad foot we were moved to the first floor. We put into a king room as we had reserved but the heater was not working correctly. They tried to tell us that it was fine, when I told them I work in the HVAC field and I know when I heater is not working correctly. When they came to check it out my wife was bundled up in her fleece blanket. They checked what rooms were available and moved us to a suite due to heater problem. If I would stay here again, yes it very easy off and on to highway 401. Great breakfast!
