“Visiting Dad”

I got pretty much what I expected and wanted. I was in town to visit my daughter and not on a honey moon or motel getaway. I was looking for a inexpensive motel that was comfortable. I got that. I visited in early Feb so I knew the pool was not operational, I was saddened that the hot tub was down and not working, but those things happen.

“Everything was okay.”

The hotel was fine. The food in the morning was fine. The channels on the tv were fine.

“OK motel”

The staff were very pleasant. The building is worn but seems clean. They make waffles for you for breakfast. I would stay again as it was convenient to where I wanted to go and was clean and quiet.

“Awful”

The hotel was old and not in good shape. The continental breakfast lacked variety and featured dirty dishes in the sink and a floor that hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

“Not Impressed”

Motel was not clean. Freezing in room. Walls very thin. Will find another place to stay next time.

“Will not be coming back”

The hotel is very run down. The rooms and hallways smell funny and its very cold. You can hear everything going on in other rooms and the hallway. You cna not walk to downtown so we had to take taxis, next time a nicer closer hotel would be ideal. My significant other and I left our jackets hanging up in the room when we check out, not smart. Mine just happened to be a new expensive North Face jacket. I realized this and called a few hours later (but was already out of Bellingham to come right back and pick it up). They said they found the 2 jackets and would put in a bag until we picked them up. When we picked them up one jacket was in there and the other jacket was clearly not my nice jacket, it was an old, ugly run down jacket that was put in there while mine was gone missing. The hotel staff said theyand it was gone later that day. I know for a fact I left it hanging, and yes it was my fault I left it there, but it should not be "missing." The manager was very rude, refused to ask her staff about it and clearly it went missing from someone on the staff. Do not come here, you will be very dissatisfied. I would not return even if it wasnt for the coat incident.

“Travelodge Bellingham”

I question the maid service at this hotel. We had a room w/ 2 queen beds. A pillow on one of the beds had a t-shirt covering it (over the pillow case). Also the hair dryer holder had thick dirt on it as if it had never been even wiped off. The door lock did not seem to work correctly either...not only on the room but the main doors also.

“Pretty shabby”

The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet and that's about it for what's good at this Travelodge. I don't think anyone has vacuumed the halls or the lobby in 6 months. The people at the desk were nice enough but there was junk and brooms and equipment lying all around where they were sitting - really looked junky. Breakfast was marginal and the tables and chairs were pretty beat up. The table we sat at had a wad of paper under one leg to keep it from wobbling. My husband's styrofoam cup had a hole in it so his coffee started leaky out. Behind the one counter was an open door to a maintenance closet and all the tools were all tumbled on the floor and spilling out. Nice ambience. I do not believe they changed our sheets once in our three day stay because the the same limp sheets with tiny stains here and there greeted us each evening. The bathroom seemed clean but there was the glue on the wall by the molding that no one had cleaned up upon installation and the shoddy caulking job on the tub which made everything look worse.

“Will sleep on the streets instead”

The non smoking floors and rooms wreek like smoke, so we burned some inscence. About 2:00 a.m. before an early rise, is when Willard the roof rat and his buddies started squeeling in the walls. When it was finally time to rise, i went to make some "in room coffee", and I had 4 packages of coffee condiments..... BUT NO COFFEE! I should have slept in my car in front of 7-11.
