There wasn’t anyone at the check in and we had to wait a long time. There were also bugs and cockroaches. There wasn’t any spoons in the breakfast

We had stayed at this motel some years ago and had a good experience so had no issues staying here again, but unfortunately it has gone down hill. The first room we had, the sink didn't drain and the tv didn't work. The bedspreads had burn holes in them and where dirty/stained. The second room they put us in had a musty mildew smell. The walls where dirty, everything was dusty. The tub had a big crack in it. The walls were very thin and the people next to us had their tv on and up loud all night. Even after complaining to the front desk and them calling the room, the volume never went down. We requested a new room for the second night. This room looked less used. The desk was half broken and there was something stuck allover the top of the dresser. The toilet didn't flush very well and run at random times. The beds were hard and lumpy but the sheets were clean. The tv in the 3rd room was the best and newest. I would never stay there again

VERY VERY UNSAFE ,DIRTY,
When i checked jn the desk clerk at first was nice , when Walked in the room. The first issue we had was with TV would not turn on the desk clerk came up and addressed it. Then there was a problem with the bathtub. I was gonna give my son a Bath and it was not even cleaned. The desk clerk cleaned it before her shift ended. Then, after going to the pool and get ready for bed. My son couldn't go to bed because of all the activity going on in the room next us in and out drug activity and partyers . So reported it really it 2 times and nothing was addressed. The employees associated with the people that were involved in this activitys so once i observed this i felt very uncomfortable and not safe at all! I felt like if i reported it again i could get hurt or robbed or something! It was freezjng temperatures and my car would not start do to this so i was stuck and didnt want to put my son and myself more him in this Environment ! So i felt VERY VERY unsafe and now stranded! And as the night went on i was extremely tired but couldnt sleep cuz of all the traffic and noise kept me up and woke up my son 4 time's!! And was feared to let front desk know again and nothing had happened. I now couldnt go attempt to start car again because i couldnt leave my son in room alone to go try to start it because unsafe conditions and couldnt wake him up and drag him outside in freezing temperatures to try to start car to just leave. Very Very unsafe dirty Environment would not recommend to anyone

I have stayed here often. Convenient to shopping, freeway, and very clean and comfortable. Though near a trucking area the noise levels are very low. Multiple restaurants are close by with multiple menu options.

Convenient to Ferndale Event Center and Pet Friendly. They do not disclose to you on Hotels.com they charge a $100 deposit on all rooms. I was treated rudely by desk clerk when she refused to allow me to speak with the manager after she called him. She did not disclose to him everything I asked when she first called him. I asked her to call him back and disclose to him exactly what my concern was and she refused stating she didn't want to bother him...made me feel like I, as a customer, was a bother. It was not late, maybe 5pm on a Saturday. This was very offputting as we find fewer hotels with excellent customer service and transparency. Sheesh...most likely will not return.

Cockroaches, bedbugs, indifferent staff, OH MY! If you’re looking to harvest roaches or feeling the itch to scratch, this is your place! The roaches are easy to catch, they aren’t even afraid of the light’s turning on!! The staff won’t help you catch them though (0-stars!) because they don’t care that the lil critters are there! They should have the no vacancy sign up permanently. All rooms are occupied. So gross

Stayed here in the past and it was fine. The location is good for a visit to Ferndale (not at Bellingham Airport). Beds are comfortable. Has a pool and jacuzzi that seemed clean. Was disappointed to find now that breakfast was a couple granola bars and a sunny d juice in a to go bag and there was no creamer for the coffee. Bathroom was missing a drain stopper and ceiling lights out. They did find an iron for us but no board. Front desk was kind but feels like the hotel is just getting old.

Amanda who worked the front desk was very helpful. Everything was outdated it hadn't been remodeled in about 30 years I'm guessing they advertise free breakfast you don't get free breakfast they give you a sack and make you leave the property to eat it. there was a yogurt two granola bars and a can of pineapple juice in the breakfast bag I had stayed there 20 years ago and it was excellent I don't know if I will ever stay there again it was not worth the price the TV only had channels for men nothing for women or children if I would have known this I would have brought my laptop so I could have streamed my Comcast

The room was somewhat quiet and the bed itself was comfortable, but the room smelled really bad. It was very obvious animals had peed all over the carpet. There was cat litter in the corner of the bathroom I had to clean up. There was cat food on the carpet around the night stand and under the bed. There was either spilled human food or animal vomit in several places on the carpet and several places on the desk chair. Not only did the room smell like animal urine, but it smelled like someone had been living in the room for months and never bathed. I had to go to the store & buy several different air fresheners just to tolerate the room for 3 nights. If you don't have animals, don't stay here. It was disgusting.

The hotel was listed as having breakfast and none was available. Water damage in the hallway with ladder and buckets in the hallway. The hall smelled of marijuana every day. This was a no smoking hotel.

The property needs a severe update! When there is mold in the bathrooms, no screen on the windows, and house keeping is vacuuming at 10pm at night. No staff was at the front desk for over 15 minutes so I left. This used to be my go to place, won’t catch me staying there again!

Buyer beware.
You get what you pay for. I needed a place to crash for a local half marathon. This place was cheap, I booked for two nights so I could rest after the race but opted to leave after one. The staff was nice and it's not their fault, the hotel is old and dated. It smells like they had a lot of smokers and or pets go through over the years. My allergies went through the roof! My nose was running every time I entered and stopped when I left the building. My room was more like an oversized dorm room with an outdated phone, a t.v. that used an antenna two lights with no bulbs, no clock, a tub that wouldn't stop dripping and a/c unit that could only be turned off by unplugging it. Worst of all is the constant noise of the truck stop next door. Since I needed fresh air I opened the window, well the noise of Trucks running their generators all night long made for a sleepless night. Again I got what I paid for.

The beds were comfortable and the window opened, both a plus. This hotel was advertised as having a breakfast. Their breakfast was a "Grab & Go" only, consisting of a bottle of juice, 1 yogurt and 2 snack bars, none of which I could eat. This was not indicated in their website or by the check in attendant when we arrived, only the hours that breakfast was "served". They do have an eating area that was closed off. The coffee pot was empty and we had to wait 10 minutes for that to be filled. This is the reason I gave it 3 stars. We mentioned all this to the manager.
