“Really nice stay!!!”

“Satisfactory stay, will stay again”

There was nothing wrong with hotel and there was nothing special about it either. It was clean and tidy. I did not have any issues while staying there, everything worked as it was supposed to. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was the same standard as any other hotel, food was good not extraordinary. I would stay there again, I felt safe in the parking areas and in my room and that is a major plus for me. Close to convention center but not overpriced like the closer hotels were.

“We'll be back!”

Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Helpful and courteous staff. Breakfast was above the average for most hotels with similar type and style of service. This was my second stay at this establishment and will not be the last.

Area recommendations

There are many hotels/motels in this part of Bellmead. Close to the highway for easy access to Waco. Plenty of eating establishments around.

“Good overnight stop”

We didn't spend much time here, as we were attending Parents Weekend at Baylor. The hotel was easy to access, beds very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was just fine and included with the price. One small complaint is the quality of the coffee -- UGH! But there is a Starbucks less than a mile away. If you want a simple, clean and convenient room, easy in/easy out, this is a great choice, and surprisingly our room was very quiet even though we were just yards away from IH-35.

Area recommendations

Baylor University, especially the south side of campus with its beautiful old buildings and gardens, and the Armstrong Browning Library on the edge of campus. It's a friendly place with lots of history and definitely worth seeing.

Dining

We also recommend Health Camp, an old burger shack with lots of personality.

Family-friendly activities

Mayborn Museum is a good stop with a very casual and fun children's museum upstairs.

“A modern and clean hotel”

The only real negative we experienced was that the bathroom door would not latch and we had our 15 yo gson stayin in the room with us. The swimming pool was a great attraction to our grandchildren in these HOT summer Texas days (102 degrees). As far as the hotel location; it was several miles away from the Baylor campus and other attractions that we were in Waco to see.

“Will not return”

The "sleeper" sofa was the most horrible thing ever. I think the floor would have been more comfortable. You could feel the springs by simply placing your hand on the mattress without even putting any pressure on it whatsoever. How our daughter was able to get any rest at all is beyond us. The pillows on our bed were lumpy and horrible. We went there for a good night's rest and that is NOT what we received. We will NOT be back!
