“it is what one would expect”

It wasn't anything spectacular but for the price its good. We would stay there again! Even surprised us with a high def tv in the room. The bed wasn't very comfortable but like I said, it was worth the price!

“Overall, great hotel.”

Everything went well on my stay, except the second morning there, it was extremely loud in the hallways with slamming doors at 7am. Very rude customers staying on the same floor.

“Parking Lot”

Hotel itself was fine. A running semi was parked directly behind our headboard all night. The headboard would vibrate everytime the refrigeration unit of the truck kicked on and off. There were dogs kenneled in several vehicles in the parking lot. Everytime fireworks went off in the distance or anyone walked near the trucks, the dogs would start barking. I don't imagine I am the only one to complain about these very disturbing noise issues that continued throughout the night. I would have also felt more comfortable if the back door of the annex building was locked at night

Dining

I had walleye at at Peppercorn's restaurant that specialized in walleye on Fri nites. Here I am in the middle of walleye country and I get mushy walleye that had obviously been frozen. Maybe my expectations are too high?

“Good, affordable and clean”

If you are looking not to spend big bucks but want a decent place to stay, this is it. Eating and shopping within walking distance. Free wireless internet worked great. A very good value for the money. Nice mattress also!

“My New Favorite”

I will admit, I am a hotel snob. I belong to a competitor's rewards program and usually stay at affiliated hotels when possible so that I know more or less what to expect. Well, I would rank the Super 8 Bemidji as my new go-to in northern Minnesota. Half the price of where I usually stay and three times as cozy. The staff were wonderful, and the room was clean and well-maintained. It seemed much more updated that your average Super 8. My room had a very cozy and comfortable feel to it, although there is no one thing I could name that contributed to this. It just seemed like the ideal place for a cold winter night, although my stay was in June. The furniture was plush and clean, with ample room to maneuver. I was extremely satisfied with my one-night stay and looking forward to staying the whole week next time!

“Good price, clean hotel”

Everything was just as it should be at the Bemidji Super 8. Priced right and they were prepared for us. Minimal time at the front desk and we were on our way.
